Im not a professional, but I do cut my own hair and I have specific preferences as to the tools I use. Even if I didnt cut my hair, I like a clean, straight part & when Im drying my hair I want clean separations when section drying. This comb is perfect for my needs. The teeth are just the right strength-- not like some other tail combs with teeth that bend, separate & quickly start to look almost melted. Practical rat-tail comb at a good price

I like this comb. I used it in comb chasing with a flat iron and it worked well. The carbon part of the comb did not get hot. I recommend this comb.

After going through a number of these combs from the beauty supply and walmart and having them all break on me or having the teeth break off, I decided to look for a better one on Amazon. I bought one awhile back but have two bathrooms and realized I need one for each bathroom so just bought this other one. These combs are so worth the higher price, they are very sturdy and if you are holding a curling iron or straightener against it, it wont melt because it is carbon and not plastic., the metal tail doesnt break off like I have happen in the past. With the amount of money that I spent buying replacements for the ones I broke, this is a nice one that wont break that easily and it comes in a nice firm straight pocket that you can that will protect it if you need to put it in your purse or traveling bag.

Great product and for a great price! Sturdy, does not bend easily when detangling hair. Easy use for perfect parting. Although I have not used it when straightening my hair, I will update my review with pictures as soon as I do.

Love this comb. Good quality and gets me my perfectly center part every time. The metal end helps me keep it in line with my nose. The little sheath thing it comes with is nice too, keeps the pointy part covered and safe while not in use.
