I bought this for parting my daughters 3c / 4a hair when protective styling. I got it last week and used it for the first time last night to part for some simple puffs. It was SO much easier to get a straight part with the fine metal tip than with either our bone rat-tail comb or plastic rat-tail pic. I dont think I will use the actual comb part--its too fine-toothed for either my hair or my little girls. But I love the metal tail; its just perfect for what I bought it for. And I was sold on this particular comb because it comes with the felted case to protect the comb from breaking, protect the people handling it from getting stabbed, and protect surfaces and other tools from getting scratched or stabbed while its in storage. This comb is fire! I know we are just talking about a comb but theres something so sleek and advanced about it even in its simplicity. I use it to part my box braids and the pointed tip is perfect for making those sharp straight lines. I like that it comes with a little case thats great for traveling. Ive also used it when styling wigs and I am very pleased.

I like this comb. I used it in comb chasing with a flat iron and it worked well. The carbon part of the comb did not get hot. I recommend this comb.

I love this comb it is very durable and perfect for styling my kids hair in braiding and parting for other updoos. I especially like how it deténgales and the pointy end for separating hair and parting.

I really liked the comb, however, the black tip of the comb broke off after 4 weeks of using it. What a bummer.
