> 3 dayReally enjoy Marc Levys novels. They are not your normal, run-of-the-mill romances. Great to read as an escape from all the negativity and chaos in todays world.

> 3 dayMarc Levy has a talent in discerning what makes us human, and how important it is that we feel. This book is a lesson in hope, love, and destiny, or at its surface, a lovely romance with a few odd twists. I urge others to read this book. There are 86,400 good reasons to do so, but I wont spoil the story by explaining them. I have been awakened to a different way of looking at the days of my life by Mr. Levys fine tale. I hope the same for other readers.

> 3 dayBeing a medical professional, there was so much wrong with the beginning of this book. The meds given and initiation of cardiac resuscitation. It was also very obvious that it initially took place in another country with different laws. Once I got past that it was a fun little fictional read. Could have been translated more appropriately though.

> 3 dayMarc Levy has a great touch with weaving the story and characters and holding you captive. With so much stress out there, his writing makes one feel good about life for awhile! I am sure I will check out everything he has written.

> 3 daySome authors innately have it, the right touch, an ambiance that immediately grabs the reader. He describes deep, meaningful love so genuinely well, along with telling a story that keeps readers turning the pages, guessing which ending hell choose. I look forward to reading more of Levys books, and have already started another of his novels. The way he drew his protagonist, an extension of himself I could tell, prompted me to google him. The interview (with photos) confirmed everything I garnered about his personality through his character Arthur. Levy is a renaissance man, a kind, interesting and well-informed man of the world. A kindly, good man. They type that are difficult to find. A person of good karma, and therefore, I am even happier to learn of his success. I look forward to reading all of his books. Thank you Marc Levy for wonderful entertainment and intelligent, interesting reading. P.S. I just read Publishers Weeklys review, above. Apparently your reviewer was skimming the novel. The female love interest was not a nurse - she was a resident doctor. Also, the reviewer stated Levy has no ear for American speech, I thoroughly disagree with that assessment. Hes as fluid in understanding American nuance as I. I suggest Publishers Weekly keep checking that reviewers work. It needs a great deal of polishing. (And no, I do not know Levy personally.)

> 3 dayRemarkable love story. A tale of the human spirit and its quest for meaning, beauty and love. Can all facets of human life be measured or quantified?

> 3 dayI didnt know what to expect with a free or nearly free book, but it was very good. Well written, and just all around enjoyable story of Indians coming to America. The road is always bumpy for immigrants.

Greater than one weekI liked the story interactions between the characters and how hard it was to put the reading of the book down. I really liked the time changing years and how the end surprised me. I really like Marc Levys books.
