I have no problem loading anything, games, media, 3D modeling. Very fast CPU that has overclocking feature.

For the money this CPU is a steal, i bought this one because of the price to performance ratio and so far its ran everything amazingly, no issues at all. Ive had programs loading slow but i think thats another issue not associated with the CPU I have m.2 nvme drives so not sure whats going on but things like steam want to load really slow but i was having that issue before my upgrade so i think its related to that. AS far as the CPU itself im running battlefield 2042 with it and a 3080 and getting close to 140 fps which is really good i think considering how unoptimized that lunatic piece of software is. I have zero idea what easy to lock is it asks for in the review but i gave it five stars anyway because this does everything you could want from it. I bought it for gaming, not sure how it would do with productivity or video editing stuff but im sure just the same. Great bargain for a top of the line gaming cpu.

My GTX 1070 is now the bottleneck. The power consumption and heat were impressive!

I bought this to upgrade my gaming desktop. It can run anything you want so long as its paired with a good GPU. What disappointed me was the lack of a stock cooler or thermal solution. I understand leaving that out of the cheaper models like the 11400F, but this is the flagship i5 and it should really be included, especially given that the stock cooler is super cheap anyway and AMDs competing models all have a great cooler included.

Just the right price and perfect for gaming rigs, no need to go for I7 or I9.

Perfect chip for the price considering 12th gen motherboard prices are ridiculous this cheap well out performs for the cost and has a good board selection for fair prices

I own a Gigabyte Z490M Gaming X motherboard. It has two M.2 slots, but one that doesnt work (labeled limited functionality). It turns out that Gigabyte built ahead to provide added functionality once the 11th Gen processors were released. So, when the new processors came out, I replaced my 10th Gen i5 10500 processor with this one. Initially, I noticed six things:

11th Gen Intel Core i5-11600K unlocked desktop processor. Featuring PCIe Gen 4.0 support, unlocked 11th Gen Intel Core desktop processors are optimized for productivity, gaming, and overclocking. Thermal solution NOT included in the box. Compatible with 500 series & select 400 series chipset based motherboards. Refer to motherboard vendor for compatibility details. 125W.
