I upgraded from a 10600kf to the 11600k. Its an almost entirely pointless upgrade and I dont recommend anybody else take this route. If you do, heres some more info...

Paired it with a MSI MAG Z590 Tomahawk Wifi. Zero issues started up first try everything worked great together before I even installed any O.S or drivers. UPDATE still running great overclocked it to 4.9 running smooth. Highly recommend this cpu.

I love this cpu! It is fast stable overclocking it is pretty easy and stays cool!!! The onboard graphics is really powerful and can play lots of powerful cpu based games like wow on high graphics for casual play without a problem. Cheap, efficient, powerful and supports pcie 4 so the new nvme cards are really fast at data transfers and complex disk space multitasking. Very reasonable for a casual gamer that doesnt want to spend 5 thousand dollars on a graphics card just to play mmos or multitasking and higher function processes.

Well worth the money...plenty fast for weekend gaming.

I went back and fourth between an i7 and this. I felt the gain in speed for the i7 did not warrant the price increase. Now I have a lightening fast system (with graphics for backup) and paid much less than an i7.

Great cpu and all but if you’re like me and can’t buy the cpu cooler you want since it’s out of stock everywhere and expect the chip to come with a stock cooler then you’d be wrong
