Very pleased with performance and it is a great value.

Great product, but kept getting delayed in shipping. Postponed my PC build by nearly a week because it was the last part to arrive.

I recently built an 15 12600k system and it has plenty of ups and downs. I dont see any of the downs being the fault of the chip or Intel. Most of the issues I have experienced with the new system (and there have been many), have to do with the motherboard or ddr5. I upgraded from a i7 4770k I had on a 24/7 4.8ghz overclock for 7 years. The new I5 is CLEARLY faster in both single and multi threaded performance. Like many I experience many errors in the windows 11 event viewer usually something to do with an efficiency core. At the end of the day I dont see any real world effects on performance, and even microsoft says to ignore these errors.

Best cpu for value and gaming

Gives AMD chips a run for their money. This is a great processor for gaming and can safely be overclocked to 5.2 GHz (two-core).

Its a great CPU.

With this, you hardly know why should you get more expensive CPU chips.

Paring it with a 3060 ti just made my games incredibly smooth

Picked this up to replace my 6th gen Core i5. Running it with a GeForce 1060 so I cant really see how much it helps as Im GPU limited. Will be awesome once I sell a kidney & win the lottery so that I can afford a GeForce 3000 or 4000 series GPU. I paired it with an Asus Z690 motherboard paired with DDR4 memory. You have to choose between DDR4 and DDR5 on Z690, just so you know.
