I had bought this cpu sometime in the fall of 2018 and its not failed me. It runs cool, is stable and does all I need for it to do and more. I can run most software and games without any hitch. I can see some life on this cpu for some years to come, despite more advanced cpus being available right now. Ive been happy with it and has proved its worth many times over. However, one may be better off getting the newer core i7s or core i9s over this one if building a new rig. Having said that, you cant go wrong with this cpu.

Good performance. Getting good frequency, 4.7GHz with turbo no problem. Paired it with an AIO and I’ve been getting descent temperature. Haven’t used it to its full potential yet but i’m confident it will perform well enough.

Upgraded a friends PC with this. It was 100x better than his previous PC, which was 10 years old. The difference was drastic for him. Its future proof for him since I installed it 3 years ago for him and its still running fast as ever. Hes gaming at full performance without any issues.

Buen rendimiento. Lo unico malo es que tiende a calentarse, pero con uno de los ventiladores noctua se soluciona eso.

Très bon processeur qui se destine aux personnes ne souhaitant pas overclocker leur processeur. Il est équivalent au i7 8700K sans OC. Il ne chauffe pas tant que ça. Avec un MasterLiquid ML120, je suis stable (4,3GHz) à 60°C sous OCCT avec un Vcore à 1,10V. Pour éviter davoir des températures trop importantes, il convient dajuster le Vcore au plus bas en testant la stabilité à chaque fois sous OCCT. En auto sur la carte mère à la base, javais un Vcore de 1,38V, qui faisait monter le processeur à 80°C. Avec un Vcore à 1,10V, jai 20°C de moins. Attention donc à ne pas laisser cette tension en automatique sur votre carte mère.

What can be said about this processor beside that its an absolute beast? I upgraded from my 6 year old i7-3930k, and the difference is quite noticeable. Websites that rendered slow before now render instantly, and this is using the same GPU as before - 980ti. Programs open instantly. Everything is really snappy. The single core speed is very noticeably fast. Great processor!
