> 24 hourDont buy it, it deletes all of your windows system restore points. You cannot undo the damage. Why anyone would sell a product that deletes restore points is beyond me.

> 24 hourIve used System Mechanic before and really liked it. But the last update includes PHOENIX 360 which deletes all browser passwords, even when the user unchecks the appropriate boxes to prevent this from happening. I emailed IOLO Dec 25, received a case number from them, then nothing. No response. Called them today, Jan 10. On hold over 25 minutes then the phone line was disconnected. Checked the LA BBB office and see they have many complaints about customer service and the product. Until PHOENIX is fixed, do not use this product. By the way, I cant get anyone to authorize a refund, so I am out some money. Save yours. Dont buy IOLO System Mechanic

> 24 hourInstalling System Mechanic destroyed my computer. It corrupted my registry. It deleted all my Windows 7 restore points. I was unable to access any of my files. Even though IOLO customer service acknowledged their software was responsible for rendering my computer useless, they claimed they have a clause in their license agreement that holds them harmless for any damage caused by their software. They refused to pay the $120 it cost me to have Tiger Direct format my hard drives. All my files were lost. I had two mirrored hard drives mirrored with RAID 1. Both drives were rendered useless.

> 24 hourI love SM adn SMP, have had great success with them but they do bug me as they change my screen resolution. I wish it would leave that alone but it is still great.

> 24 hourYoure better off getting one of the major brand. This never worked fully an would often times repeat the same procedure as if just keeping up the appearances of doing something. It never ran a full scan and allowed a viru and ransom malware to attack my system. Steer Clear or youll regret it!!!

> 24 hourSeems like a good product. Some problems installing. You have to be a minor geek to negotiate use. Needs a little fine tuning for us non-experts.

> 24 hourI purchased System Mechanic for 24.95 as an annual subscription. The tool worked ok not great. The app itself is riddled with ways to get you to buy more services. Its annoying. The next month I received another 19.95 charges on my credit card. After struggling to figure out the correct number to call (I promise you they dont make it easy), I spoke to a very confused individual who informed me that when I signed up for System mechanic I also signed up for enhanced tech support at 19.95 a month (read the fine print). This is clearly a deceptive trade practice (I am complaining to the FTC). I immediately canceled all services and uninstalled System Mechanic.
