> 24 hourFor convenience more than display quality. It will only take the Wii from 480i to 480p, but that’s not what got me to order this product. I wanted to be able to use an HDMI cable on an old system and this did the trick. The bonus HDMI cable makes this a great buy! The graphics are fine, but it’s still a Wii with limited picture quality. I would recommend this to anyone looking to play an old system on a newer TV. Happy reviewer!

> 24 hourIve had a Wii sitting in a cabinet for probably five years now since we got rid of our last CRT television and found it recently. I went to hook it up and realized the new TV only has HDMI inputs. I went ahead and ordered this and hooked it up. Note, it is very important in the Wii to set the resolution to 480p or you will get glitches and freezes. Newer 4K TVs certainly reveal the limitations of the Wiis graphics but its quite fun to crack out a nearly 20 year old game system and revisit Super Mario Brothers and Lego Indiana Jones. For a sub 10 dollar investment, you cannot go wrong if you have a working Wii and a newer TV.

> 24 hourThis converts your Wiis analog signal to digital for use in an HDMI-in TV. If you dont have component hookups, and want an easy way to solve that, this is it. Picture quality is slightly improved due to a digitization, but thats really a subjective take. What you need to know is that it works, and works well.

> 24 hourMy family still loves playing Wii, especially Mario Kart. I had upgraded years ago from a composite cable (where all video is handled on one cable, usually yellow, and there are red and white cables for audio) to a component cable (where red green and blue are all on separate cables, plus the two audio cables). This allows the Wii to output 480p, instead of 480i, for a slightly more stable, vivid picture. I wanted to upgrade to a new TV, and many don’t have component inputs any longer. Decided to give this adapter a shot. Plugs right into the Wii, and an HDMI cable is INCLUDED, unlike many of these from other brands. Picture quality did not suffer at all. Audio is carried over the HDMI as you’d expect, you only need the optional jack if you want to pump audio directly to a stereo system for example. Nice product and a great price!

> 24 hourIt worked on my Samsung Smart TV, the picture quality is about as good as youd expect from a Wii. The audio jack is optional, if you only use the HDMI then the sound will play through the TV like normal, in case you were worried about that.

> 24 hourThe IQIKU HDMI Adapter for Wii helps fulfill an important need for people with TVs/monitors without composite or component inputs. This is especially helpful for people with 4K monitors since many only have HDMI inputs. Colors are vibrant and the picture is relatively sharp, though not as sharp as most component-to-HDMI adapters (though those can run significantly higher, with some solutions up in the hundreds). I havent noticed any tearing or excessive artifacting in the 4-5 games I have played through the adapter so far. Audio through the HDMI is clean and sounds great on my Vizio soundbar. It does come with one major caveat, however. Unlike a component connection, which can output in widescreen, the IQIKU HDMI Adapter can only output in 4:3, so you need to be okay with pillarboxing on the left and right of the screen. For me, its a fair trade to be able to play these great games again, but I realize it may be a less acceptable option for others. If that should be the case for you, you are probably best looking for a used Wii-U since it is backward compatible with Wii games and can output natively in HDMI with a very clean sharp 16:9 image. For the rest of this, this is an affordable compromise.

> 24 hourExactly what I needed, great little adapter that lets me play my beloved WII in a world where RCA jacks are harder and harder to find on the back of a TV. Great little unit that works as expected.

> 24 hourOverall: This is a good product. Its easy to install, easy to use, and allows you to be able to continue using your Wii with modern TVs using HDMI. HD is only 480p (not 720p or 1080p so set your expectations ahead of time). It definitely looks sharper than using AV cables, however it does show some fuzzy lines on the screen which may annoy video game purists. Still very playable. ***Note: Remember to change Wii Settings to 480p in the menu or else you will experience glitches playing content.***
