> 24 hourThe IQIKU HDMI Adapter for Wii helps fulfill an important need for people with TVs/monitors without composite or component inputs. This is especially helpful for people with 4K monitors since many only have HDMI inputs. Colors are vibrant and the picture is relatively sharp, though not as sharp as most component-to-HDMI adapters (though those can run significantly higher, with some solutions up in the hundreds). I havent noticed any tearing or excessive artifacting in the 4-5 games I have played through the adapter so far. Audio through the HDMI is clean and sounds great on my Vizio soundbar. It does come with one major caveat, however. Unlike a component connection, which can output in widescreen, the IQIKU HDMI Adapter can only output in 4:3, so you need to be okay with pillarboxing on the left and right of the screen. For me, its a fair trade to be able to play these great games again, but I realize it may be a less acceptable option for others. If that should be the case for you, you are probably best looking for a used Wii-U since it is backward compatible with Wii games and can output natively in HDMI with a very clean sharp 16:9 image. For the rest of this, this is an affordable compromise.

> 24 hourBack when the Wii was released in 2006, Nintendo had chosen to focus on motion controls as their new innovation and were the only console of the generation to stick with SD graphics. While it may have been a smart decision at the time, the ongoing developments in TV technology are starting to leave older devices out. HDMI is the norm now and many HDTVs dont even have the proper inputs to connect to pre-HD devices. This device replaces the RCA connection on the Wii for HDMI. The box includes the HDMI adapter as well as an HDMI cable. Im happy to report its simple and it works. You simply attach the adapter to the Wii, connect the HDMI cable, and you can jump right back into Wii Bowling. I found that it outputs at 480p @ 60Hz on my television (in one of the pictures my TV shows a notification at the bottom of what resolution is being displayed). This might disappoint some people hoping for an upscaled resolution. Make sure to adjust your Wiis picture settings for the best image quality. Overall, this is a very affordable and solid solution for anyone who is looking to play their Wii on a modern televsion.

> 24 hourThis HDMI converter is a must have if you want to hook your Wii up to a flat screen or receiver that has no RCA capabilities. It works as good if not better than the original RCA cable it was supplied with when you bought the Wii. It comes with an HDMI cable so you won’t have to buy one or search your entire house for one that’s not already being used. You can plug headphones right into this converter if you want to as well. I personally won’t be using this option because I have no need to. The only thing that I noticed that may be a slight concern is, it sticks out of the back of the unit a few inches, so if you don’t have clearance behind your Wii, this may be an issue. For me it wasn’t, but for some it may be.

> 24 hourMy av cables were starting to go out and instead of replacing them I figured an upgrade would be about the same cost. This kit includes an HDMI cable and the converter which was a nice surprise. I thought the price was good with just the converter. Set up was easy. The picture needed some aspect ratio adjustment which i fixed it on the Wii settings. Everything looked super clean. Im so happy to have my Wii up and running again.

> 24 hourFor convenience more than display quality. It will only take the Wii from 480i to 480p, but that’s not what got me to order this product. I wanted to be able to use an HDMI cable on an old system and this did the trick. The bonus HDMI cable makes this a great buy! The graphics are fine, but it’s still a Wii with limited picture quality. I would recommend this to anyone looking to play an old system on a newer TV. Happy reviewer!

> 24 hourI’ve had my old Wii shelved for years now and love being able to hook it back up for play! Haven’t had a TV with either component or composite video and analog audio inputs in years and this interface box is great - new life for an old toy! Hooked up quickly and no issues with operation.

> 24 hourIt works and everything, but you have to connect the sound externally. If it wasnt for that, Id give it 5 stars.
