Jabsco Manual Pump Assembly f/29090-Series

Came exactly as stated and 2 days before I expected it to arrive. Item was brand new in abox complete with instructions. I installed it with minimal problems. I got this item at a fair price. Will use this vendor again.

Perfect replacement part for older nonlocking model. Thought problem was joker valve but turned out to be base valve gasket under pump assembly. New locking feature added security to keep valve closed.

Got this for my boat to replace an old unit which seemed like it had never changed. I could tell it had some type of repair kit in it, but after installing this..OMG I dont know how I have waited this long to purchase this. I can flush and clean the Boat Toilet bowl much nicely now. Thank You.

This item is great if you have an older Jabsco MSD (head) and cant figure out which rebuild kit to choose. It installs quickly and easily, though none of the paperwork in the box tells you how. (It is all about new head installation.) Go to their website and watch the videos. It DOES come with a joker valve (one review said it does not), but for some reason, only one mounting screw. ( Not sure why one... 4 are needed, but being stainless going into plastic, your 4 old ones will work fine.) Big surprise (not) - this part is $30 higher at your local boat parts store... Job not even as messy as I feared. I made sure the MSD was flushed with clean (lake) water, and darn sure holding tank was pumped out. Maybe 1/2 cup of water came out of supply hoses. Not sure these Jabsco heads ever work great, but if you have to deal with one, this is a fairly painless way to go about it. Now my head is the latest model!

Quick and simple to install. Great Value. The head has never worked better. Video installation guide was very helpful in assuring project sanitation. It about 20 minutes. Now everybody is happy! Jabsco even provides you with a couple extra bolts. How often does that ever happen? Thumbs up!!

Install time was less than 5 minutes. The new locking feature is well worth the price of pump replacement and works great. No more holding tank backing up into the bowl. When compared with the price of replacing the various gaskets and seals to rebuild your existing pump, this is a no brainer. Get it now. July 2011 update: Seems the seals on this work no better than previous models. After 2 years I again have the holding tank backing up into to the bowl. So, I replaced the joker valve and the bottom flapper at a cost of $36. For just a few $$ more I could have replace the entire pump and had all new seals and O-rings. My advice is to just plan on replacing the the pump every 2 years since it is less expensive to do that than to replace all the seals. Too bad Jabsco couldnt create a product that truly locks. May 2014: Installed a new one in the spring of 2013. Lasted one year and just replaced the joker valve in spring of 2014. The cost of these has gone up considerably and seal last a year, maybe. Going to replace the toilet with something other than Jabsco.

It took me about 1 hour to replace it, not the best hour in my live as space is very very tight and, well, you know. But I got it in and it works perfectly. I was very happy to see it fits perfectly in my 1990 original head.

Easy install, just about as fast as swapping out the joker valve except everything is new including the valve.

Love it. Easy to install. Works great. Got the replacement parts for the one we took off and now we have a backup.
