Jacquard Acid Dye - Pink - 1/2 Oz Net Wt - Acid Dye for Wool - Silk - Feathers - and Nylons - Brilliant Colorfast and Highly Concentrated

I bought this dye to DIY a sweatshirt. At first, everything was fine. The color was true and rich. Once I put the sweatshirt in the wash, all the color came out.

The dye was awesome, it was my first attempt at ombre and I was very happy with it. The only problem, when I washed it in cold water, all the dye came out and now my dress is very light pink.

It took a while to arrive and didnt have directions in the box but I really loved the finished results!

Tie dye powders are so cool I havent tried it yet you can mix it with water and put small droplets wherever you want that kind of color. And then I understand that you can also put them in the refrigerator and save them and reuse them with a cheap dies you cant do that

This dye did not hold the color well and my project ended up a washed out muddy tan color. Not the dark brown I asked for! Back to the good stuff!

I have done a lot of dyeing fabric over the years (Im talking a lot of years!) - this is the best dye I have used. I took my courage in my hands and dyed an off-white cashmere dressing gown and blanket that had got a bit old and icky. They now look glorious. And still as soft as they were before, which is the real revelation. Id definitely not use any other dye after this. Thank you.
