Janome HD 3000 BE Black Edition with Exclusive Bonus Bundle

I am very disappointed only used a few times I got this one because it says it sees thick fabric. Well on my third time trying the matching I was sewing with fleece. It James up so I changed needle and rethreaded but now the timing is off and won’t pickup bobbin thread. Then I see I can’t return item.

Sometimes automatic threader takes a few times and the door has to be lifted to shut it after threading otherwise it’s a good machine

I really love this sewing machine. It makes perfect stitches every time I sew. Top and lower stitches are perfect. Ive only had it for a day now and I see why so many people love this machine. I believe I will get many years of good sewing with this machine!

This machine doesnt work at all. Save your money, and dont waste your time having to return this piece of garbage.

It is easy to mess up when winding the bobbin and end up with a loose, unusable bobbin when wound. The solution to this problem is to wind from the upright additional spool pin (pointy white plastic thing) which goes in the square hole under the top lid, and route the thread through the back thread guide with the screw on top, NOT the front thread guide. It may be necessary to use a little screwdriver (included) to tighten the thread guide so the bobbin is wound with more tension on the thread, so it winds tight and not loose. When putting the filled bobbin in the machine, be sure to have the thread running COUNTERCLOCKWISE, then pull the thread in the opposite direction and route it through the two little notches on the front of the bobbin holder. There is an arrow pointing to the left, which references that, NOT the whole bobbin direction. I found that arrow confusing and put the bobbin in wrong until I finally figured it out.

I am a professional seamstress for over 40 years. I had worn out my previous Janome and wanted a no frills machine. This machine is a sturdy and dependable beast! Love it. I’ve only had a week but it is everything I need. Why spend thousands on machines that have a hundred stitches when you need only a couple...straight, zig zag, stretch zig zag and a great buttonhole. I have a shop, “Little Blessings,” on Etsy and I make Blessing/Baptism dresses. This machine is a rockstar.

The machine arrived stuck in reverse. I thought it was user error, since Im not familiar with this brand. I realized it wasnt my mistake but the machine being broken when I finally took it to a sewing class. The machine is $400, and the repair will cost $300. Its not worth the money or the hassle.

This machine is currently in the shop for repair after only 4 or 5 projects. 2 pairs of pants. A tactical bag and a couple shirts. The machine will not pick up the bobbin thread at all and the top tension is weak. If you need to sew thick or heavy material this is not the machine for you.

one of the plastic item was missing. i found out when i was assembling these together. i bought this to mainly stitch leather, i hope the review is as promising as it seems.
