Greater than one weekGot it because it was the only one with a handle you could pick the strainer up by without getting as filthy in the process. Most of the designs out there you have to pry out of the drain with your finger nail or a tool.

> 3 dayMy old strainers had a beveled edge and you had to use a sprayer to remove the debris into the strainer. These lie flat in the drain making them more efficient. Very sturdy and look good.

> 3 daySo easy to clean, with a septic system do not want all the extra food to go down the drain. These are ideal.

> 3 dayIts a cute sink drain strainer but the holes are so small that it takes awhile to drain any liquid denser than water.

> 3 dayI love these sink strainers! I usually buy those plastic ones with the little animal like a duck in the center. Those ones have gone down hill and tall apart. Thus isnt appealing as it is a basic silver drain but let me tell you. This is one of the best ones I have bought. It catches every little thing and cleans out easily when it needs to be emptied. I would def by again once these wear out.

> 3 dayI like it. I bought this especially for the handle. Those without handle become impossible to lift up to remove after a while and I risk breaking a nail hurting my fingers trying to. Super easy to lift up with the handle and easy to keep clean. Great thoughtful design. I will continue buying specifically this one. Thank you!

> 3 dayWell made, sturdy, fine holes, much superior to mesh. My only complaint is that these strainers dont fit my sink perfectly, so debris can skip through under the edge.

Greater than one weekThe disposer was not pulverizing wet waste fine enough and it caused a clog going out to the city sewer line. He said to strain out fine wet waste and put it in the kitchen garbage bag can. Plumbers and drain reaming are expensive. Hopefully, this strainer will save future visits from the plumber. It works well.

Greater than one weekOur old house has thin pipes and gets clogged easily. The plastic ones from the dollar store weren’t cutting it. I scoured Amazon looking for something better and came across these. They are perfect. Nothing gets past them and hopefully we won’t have to get a professional in here as often to clear the pipes.
