I bought a set of these sink strainers before based on a recommendation from my daughter. I was so pleased with the product - I bought a spare set - though I doubt Ill be needing the spare set for a long time!

These work great when needed to clean vegetables from the garden, or cleaning pots and pans. Since we are on a septic system, they help filter food particles from going down the drain.

These strainers work exactly as Id hoped. They fit down onto the sink flange and catch everything. Sold in twos, and dishwasher safe, means I always have a clean one ready to use. I bought these to replace my old screen type filter. The wires came loose from under the band and were always poking my fingers. I will never have that problem with these new strainers.

I got this to catch small food bits so they dont go down my RVs sink drain. It works better than the sink strainer that came with the RV. I used the second one in my homes sink that doesnt have a garbage disposal for the same purpose. It works well and glad I got it.
