This is perfect for a sometimes klutzy 16 year old grandson I bought a soldering kit for. Saves furniture from a carelessly put down soldering iron, and has areas to put small pieces that otherwise would get lost.

Overall, its a great little mat. Ive been using it for a while now and no real complaints. The first day, when I opened it up, it smelled to high heaven, but the smell went away after about 4 or 5 days.

I really like this thing. I work with a lot of pocket knives and computer equipment and this is perfect for keeping small tools and parts organised and visible. Very good color and tackiness. Slots for little screwdrivers. Really well done and a fair price. I will likely get the little one too.

Like ease of use

This thing is so useful! I bought it to keep track of all the pieces when doing a small cell phone repair, but ended up leaving it on my desk at home for all manner of small repairs, crafts, paper cutting, etc. Now... The one I got came with 3 parts boxes along the top... And due to the nature of the design, the material is very thin at the lids hinge, allowing it to open and close. After about a month of use, one of the lids had ripped nearly all the way off. Of course, the return window had just closed (my luck)... So I contacted the seller. To my surprise, the seller was very kind to send a replacement, along with a small pack of a new product for me to try. This is excellent customer service from a seller that stands behind the quality of their products!

I love it, it works great, heat resistant to soldering iron, great for rework, fantastic organization, works well with SM components. Highly recommended.
