heat resistance was al I was in the market for. This does not prevent static discharge. But if youre new to soldering, this is perfect. I work on guitar components and it was just the right size for what I needed and lays over my guitar to protect it while im performing surgery.

Nice mats! I bought 2 of the smaller ones to have the flexibility of a larger or smaller size. Just lay them next to each other for more covrage. Also, it was cheaper than buying the next size up ;-)...

Like this for my electronics. The little covers dont make much sense. (two). It works great for me not burning or cutting my bench. Good product.

Great pad for soldeing on. Holds things in place when using stand to hold pcb boards with stands. Does not melt like cheaper ones do. Nice size and love the different sections to it.

Excellent item for your work bench or desk. Definitely heat resisted . Place to put screws and such that will not roll away. Cleans very easy as well. A must have for anyone working with smaller electronic items.
