> 24 hourI love these little smart plugs! I have a handful of lamps with no light switch and a plug thats in the outlet behind the couch or another piece of furniture thats not easily accessible. I plugged those lights into these smart plugs, synced them with my google home speakers and and now I can turn lights on and off with a simple hey google command or with the google home app instead of moving the couch every time or just leaving the light on all the time.

> 24 hourI bought them before and they were so good that I bought some more. Actually, I bought some more because one of them stopped working. The new one also didn’t work so it’s probably something on my end. But the three of the four that do work, work great! Only downside is one outlet.

> 24 hourBought these for use with Home Assistant. Installation and configuration was a breeze. No problems with dropped connections or inconsistent performance, they just work. I like that you can control the status LED so I can turn them off on the ones in bedrooms so theres no unnecessary light in the room. Form factor is perfect, easily fit two of them in one outlet if needed. Given my wifi network is starting to get full, the next time I need smart plugs Ill go with Matter / Thread plugs since theyre powered and can be full thread nodes to extend / reinforce your Thread network.

> 24 hourIve used one of these for about 30 days now, and so far so good. BUT, its an electronic device made overseas and bought through Amazon, so well see how it works in six months.

> 24 hourThe setup for these took literally less than a minute and they havent needed to be re connected once since i got them. the user interface is smooth, intuitive, and easy to understand even for people who are less tech savvy. an added plus i didnt consider in the beginning is how they dont stick out a bunch. They do add about 2 inches to the plug so using these behind a dresser or most furniture is going to be difficult but i can live with it.

> 24 hourOver the past few years, I have started to replace bulbs with LEDs, sometimes with smart bulbs, and introduced smart plugs. I needed more to allow Xmas window decor to turn on and off on scheduled instead of having to run around and plug in/unplug them at night. I now use them for other purposes since its no longer the holidays. I love the Alexa integration. I am currently using 2 of the 4 that came in this set for a decorative lamp atop a bookcase and a bankers-style lamp on top of a desk. For the timers, I set it and forget it but also with Alexa integration, all I have to do is say, Alexa, turn Bookcase on (or off) or Alexa, turn Desk on (or off). Great plugs and they stay connected to my wifi without fail. Highly recommend these.

> 24 hourI bought these on a whim- I wasn’t completely sure how well they would work, but a friend recommended them. When they arrived it took me about 15 minutes to set up the first one, and maybe 5 minutes for the second one. They work great. I have some lamps attached to them, and it’s nice to be able to turn them on or off like night lights. It’s also nice to be able to turn lights on from the car when I know my hands will be full when I come home. The price is very affordable, and the app is easy to use. (I only use the app- I don’t have it hooked up to Alexa or anything like that.)

> 24 hourI am beyond thrilled to have finally figured out how to integrate motion detection with the smart plugs so that certain smart plugs (where i have plugged in lamps), go off only with motion detection during certain hours. So first off, get the indoor Kasa cams too. They are inexpensive, and place them where you want motion detection. I was lucky bc we already had indoor Kasa cams all over our home. Next set up your smart plugs normal set up(go through the Kasa set up to add the device to your app). This is where it starts to get tricky but I promise once you do it once, you will find it SO EASY!! I am so excited to share this bc even when I asked Kasa support they didnt know the exact steps. First you are going to set up the ACTION you want triggered (you will set up the hours you want this to happen between later). 1. Go to Smart Action tab. --> When-->Trigger Device-->choose camera of your liking.---> Then ---> Control Smart Device --->choose your smart plug of your liking.--> Label it Motion Front Entry or something like that. Save. NOW we are going to set up during WHAT TIMES we want this motion detection to happen. For ex you likely only want a lamp to go off during nighttime hours, such as after sunset till 11pm. You can even offset your sunrise and sunset times such as before sunset 10 mins, or after sunrise plus 30 min. 1. Go to Smart Action tab--->When--->Trigger Time-->choose time you want your motion detection to start.-->Then--->Enable Smart Action--->pick the Motion Front Entry or whatever smart action you made for the motion detection. Hit Save. Now do this last step again but instead of Enable Smart Action you will choose Disable Smart Action at your specified Trigger time. You can even set up different times of day. For ex I have motion detection during early morning hours AND PM hours. I love this system so much. If you dont want motion detection just set up normal schedule like whatever days of week to turn on and off certain time too. I did this with our outdoor light switches for example.

> 24 hourI have bought multiple Gosund products because of lower cost, and they generally work, but I have been having problems constantly lately that they go offline when our Internet drops. Ive been using 2 of these for 3 months and they havent gone offline even once. I just configured the other 2. They just did a software upgrade. The app told me it was available and it gave me the option to apply it to a single device or all devices. I havent seen a single upgrade for the Gosund outlets in 4 years.

> 24 hourTheres a big block of seemingly styrene foam in the packaging; no reason this couldnt be a biodegradable starch. Setup was OK, but theres not a word anywhere about hooking it up to Alexa; youre on your own for that. The Kasa skill to do that didnt work on the first try, but was OK on the second. There doesnt seem to be an Alexa command to set an on/off schedule; but its easy enough in the app; either a routine in Alexa or a timer schedule in the Kasa app.
