> 24 hourWorks great on all my small soldering projects around the house. Ive used it on circuit boards and on joining wires and it melts and flows perfectly. I chose the 63/37 solder because 63/37 solder is made of 63% tin and 37% lead. It has a melting point of 183°C, slightly lower than the more common 60/40 blend. Eutectic solders like the 63/37 are easier to work with as there is no semi-solid point when melting it, like there is with 60/40 solder. Its worth the slightly higher cost if you are working with delicate electronics. It works great with my

> 24 hourFor years Ive been soldering with a generic wire, using a flux pen to compensate for the lack of flux inside of it. Then one day someone in one of the forums suggested I use a Kester wire. This is seriously life changing. No more soldering frustrations for me, the wire melts right into the perf board holes without any trouble. Just a note - this thing is heavy. Youre going to need a soldering station or some sort of a holder.
