> 3 dayI purchased a handful of these to give to family and friends for Christmas, and filled them with personally curated photos, songs or ebooks that I thought they would each like. It was the perfect little gift that they could reuse and carry and bring anywhere. There is a slot to either place a keyring or string wristlet which attaches to the drive, but it doesnt come with any keyring or wristlet, so youd have to purchase these separately. To open or close, simply slide the cap up or down and it will reveal or hide the USB connector. This is made of plastic on the outside so durability is not the same as those made from metal and Im not sure how waterproof (if at all) these may be. Copy speed was OK/average, even with a 3.0 connection. Price point was good and storage capacity was enough to hold my files and still provide some room for additional use/storage.

Greater than one weekWriting mp3s to this starts off okay at around 30 mbps then slows to around under 200 kbps in under a minute and eventually around 50 kbps until it finally finishes about 30 minutes later. Not only does it read and write it slowly, it corrupts the files it writes. My car head unit would skip or not even play some songs, leading me to think my head unit was messed up and went through the trouble of replacing a few all because of this POS. Just recently, I decided to reformat and give this a try because I needed a USB stick to use as a recovery drive, and failed again which is the reason for this review. I put the recovery data on this stick and booted to USB and sure enough I get a pop up saying I cant use it because a file is corrupted. Next I reloaded the same data on a Sandisk Extreme and no problems.

Greater than one weekLess than $four.fifty for 32gb was good, but agree with many other reviews that speed is poor for 3.0. For the price it wont be returned, but if speed is important suggest to look elsewhere.

> 3 dayThe cheapest USB 3.0 32 gb drive for less than $6.00, what a deal and with Prime free shipping. In addition to that, I never have issue with KINGSTON USB drive, micro-sd....etc

> 3 daySlow IS a factor. Relability is all that. 2.3 years into the 5 year warranty zero is what I got. The computer rarely recognizes. When it does it disconnects mid transfer. No devices recognize what files are already on there. I now have 2 of these POS in my collection. Both unfixably write protected Warranty service is head bashing. Unholy hold times, customer is required to report unreadable numbers on drive, RMA emails that NEVER arrive. All for the privilege of sending them back on your own dime and waiting for replacements. I wouldnt send them my data anyway. It cannot be erased. Im done with Kingston. Ill add them to my list of failed manufacturers to avoid. They are totally irresonsible.
