Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

Received a DOA product. Sent it back to Amazon (with no charges to me) and got a new one the next day. This one works, so I dont mind. This stuff happens. I cant complain.

Just what I needed and a great price!

Worked great. Used it as a slave drive to increase hard drive capacity. Would have been nice if it came with a SATA IIII cable though. I put WOW on it to run separate from my main drive and it is a lot faster than my WD Raptor Drive. SSD is the way to go!

Most of these el cheapo $20 120gb drives lack 3D nand which makes them slow but i was impressed with the speeds of the A400.

I had no problems with it and it improved my pc speed until it died. It should have lasted longer. I used it to run windows 10. Fortunately it is within the warranty. Which is 3 years or until their SMART ID 231 SSD Life reaches a value of 1. Mine was down to a value of 2 even though it only had a medium to light amount of use in that time. (Value starts at 100). It just started having too many read errors. Couldnt even reformat or even read the partition table to try to fix.

After having a sluggish laptop for years, I finally decided to look up if there are any ways to improve it since restoring it didn’t do much. I increases my RAM from 4GB to 12GB which helped with the performance. Now with the SSD, it’s fast! Works better than it was when new! I am happy.

Linux OS running smooth and quick for couple months now. Will probably buy another for windows.

Reemplacé el HDD de una lenovo ya que estaba muy lenta, al hacer el cambio ahora con el SSD la computadora funciona mucho más rápido, los programas se ejecutan de forma rápida, en fin full recomendado.
