Got this to repair my old laptop to give my husband. He loves the speed and has been happy with the laptop’s performance. It’s a lot of storage for a small price and you just cannot beat the speed of an SSD.

This is pretty simple tech - if you want to get the most out of an old machine, change the hard drive from the standard spindle based to an SSD and youll notice a big difference right away. And most people dont need more than 240GB....even most company laptops dont need more than that.

Really easy

This is not the fastest SSD out there by any means. But it is cheap, and it is still an order of magnitude faster than a HDD. While youll definitely see the difference between this and the top tier SSDs in benchmarks, in day to day usage youll honestly be hard pressed to notice the difference. The 240GB version is a perfect size to run your OS (plenty of room for all of the large temporary files Windows creates) and throw a few games on, pair with HDD for file storage.

Was surprised to see how fast my older Windows laptop boots up now. Definitely a HUGE HUGE HUGE improvement to its performance. Ordered another one for my MacBook. Might order even another one with a bracket and install into my Mac. For now I am happy with this product which has improved my dying Toshiba laptop I heavily used for years!
