Just got my Drive and Im super excited to install and see the difference. Im writing this review because when I opened my hard drive from the package the Warranty sticker caught my eye. It looked half way removed or something and it was pressed back down I could be wrong but,Im afraid if I ever do need to send back to company that they would say its voided. When I opened package this way and never used it. I will update review once I install and see my laptops performance.

I have an Acer 5736z that was in need of being replaced. Boot times were unreasonably long and would hang sometimes. It would get too hot to keep on your lap and the batter life was poor even after buying a new battery. I really dont use if for much, I mostly open it up when I need to do something that I cant do on my tablet so I just dealt with these issues. I saw the price of this SSD and figured it was worth a shot. I couldnt be more please. I was going to do a fresh install of windows but this turned out to be too much trouble so I purchased a 9$ USB to SATA adapter and used a free cloning software (Minitool Partition Wizard) to transfer everything. I was expecting faster boot times and this drive delivered but what I wasnt expecting is It no longer gets too hot to sit on my lap and the battery life has greatly improved. I purchased another for my HTPC and will be installing it this week. If you have an old spin drive do yourself a favor and buy one of these. The cost has come down on them so much you are a fool to use anything else.

At this price, for a name brand SSD it is well worth it. Not quite Samsung quality but for sure a great option for a starter SSD.

Replaced a 5400 rpm mechanical drive in my dads laptop because his computer was way too slow and he was ready to replace the whole thing. One new SSD and a fresh install of windows later and he couldnt be happier with it. Everything is so much faster and more responsive now.

This drive has worked flawlessly since I got it. Its super-fast, quiet as death and does everything a person could want from a storage device. I highly recommend it. Why 4 stars instead of 5? For this kind of price, most other manufacturers are giving you twice as much capacity.

Easy to install. Gets the job done. Have this as my main drive on my pc. Boots Windows.

Read and write speeds are as advertised. Nice color for most builds.
