Make sure you buy the right cable for the drive! After doing some research, its not really necessary to buy a bracket for this thing if it is going inside a desktop case. Just velcro it or zip tie it somewhere inside the case. There are no moving parts and it doesnt get hot. So, its really hard to damage the device.

Strongly recommended if your laptop computer has the slot. It made my computer as it is brand new. Still works perfectly.

i know some of these reviews with low reading is due to having a sata II motherboard. My benchmarks actually surprised the hell out of me. very impress for the price i got it when it was on lightning sale for 32 bucks. What a steal. From my experience with the samsung ssd, speeds are way higher but in all honesty you cant tell the difference. Now switching from a hdd to ssd it a must. Especially for boot up. anyways very happy with my purchase.

It really didnt help my boot time so a little disappointed there.. yes its much faster every were else but was super hyped for lightning boots honestly wish I would have sprung for the Samsung.. Or just about any other branded drive.. It is actually one of the slowest SSDs on the market if you are buying one for speed (I am assuming you are) why not get the fastest. Works no issues thus far cant say dont buy but do some research and maybe buy a different brand.

I got this SSD for use with my Raspberry Pi 4 setup for my child and it makes a world of difference. The improvements to performance over using the SD card are night and day. Definitely well worth the upgrade.

Installed as the boot drive on a Ryzen 3 mobo , loaded with the Win 10 OS from a download the unit worked perfectly. With the Documents and download folders on a hard drive there have been no problems with drive capacity. Highly recommended for utility and value for money.

Bought to swap out with the HDD in my Mac Mini 2011. The speed of this thing essentially gave my old Mac Mini a new breath of life! Solid build quality and overall would highly recommend for those who mostly use the cloud. For those who like to store things locally, Id recommend getting a bigger size then 120GB though.
