19-11-2024this was perfect for me, was easy to clone my old hard drive with software found free online (the drive brings no software) and was up and running within a couple of hours, blazing fast. have been using it for a few weeks and its been amazing. recommended.

Greater than one weekI bought two of these to upgrade two of my Windows 7 laptops, a ThinkPad T60 and a Dell Latitude e6410, as one had very little space (the T60 previously had a 60GB drive) and the other was running low and was slow (the e6410 previously had a 160GB drive). The start up time on the T60 dropped from 3 minutes to 30 seconds. The e6410 dropped from 4:15 to 30 seconds. Cloning my T60 with Macrium Reflect 7 took 31 minutes. Cloning my e6410 took 2 hours 13 minutes. I’ve yet to benchmark the drives, but so far I will have to agree with what Kingston quoted. These were upgrades I’ve been putting off for a while and finally got around to. I’m starting to convert all of my laptops to solid state storage, these two just had higher priority. I will buy again for my Windows based systems.
