Does a much better job than the strainer that came with our sink.

Easy to use and keeps silverware and other smaller items from going into the garbage disposal and getting damaged.

The sink filter is sturdier than what I replaced. A perfect fit. No problems ordering, receiving, or replacing the filter.

No drain block, just blocks food scraps and very easy to clean and looks good

I bought this for 2nd drain. To me sure I dont get clogs.

I bought this strainer to be easier to clean than my present wire screen type, which it is. It will probably last forever. Two disadvantages: the holes make up a smaller fraction of the surface, so it drains slower (which I knew in advance), and the edge is rolled (folded over), which reduces the nominal 4.5-inch width to 4.375 inches and makes the edge twice as high (which I didnt know in advance). This may seem petty, but it does makes for a sloppier fit than the strainer its replacing.
