> 3 dayThese are much much better than the half circle mesh ones. These just dont break. They will be thrown in the trash by accident b4 they wear out. Thats how good they are

> 3 dayThis is a wide drain strainer that doesnt close to fill the sink with water. Exactly what I was looking for to keep utensils from accidentally going into the garbage disposal!

> 3 dayNot so easy to clean. Food gets stuck in them. Definitely do their job keeping food from going down the drain.

Greater than one weekI bought this strainer to be easier to clean than my present wire screen type, which it is. It will probably last forever. Two disadvantages: the holes make up a smaller fraction of the surface, so it drains slower (which I knew in advance), and the edge is rolled (folded over), which reduces the nominal 4.5-inch width to 4.375 inches and makes the edge twice as high (which I didnt know in advance). This may seem petty, but it does makes for a sloppier fit than the strainer its replacing.

> 3 dayThese are SO SO SO much better than the wire mesh type drain screens. The old wire mesh screens are hard to clean and get nasty. These drain covers are a breeze to clean because you can just wipe them out easily with a paper towel. The old ones required banging on the inside of the kitchen trash can and it still never was completely clean. These are a far better design!

> 3 dayIf you are like me, I have one side of the sink with a dish drainer and rarely want to use a stopper. The stoppers for your sink are constantly closing just from water pressure. To let the water out you have to remove the dish drainer full of dishes. This eliminates that problem. It rinses easily and fits well. No more having to stop what you are doing to fix the stopper.
