These are the very best strainers we have ever used. Durable, lightweight and effective. Catch all fine particles before getting in the drain line. Really crucial since were on a septic. They clean fairly well - just tap on the inside of trash can and the debris fall off. Better to do it when its dry. Nice chrome finish for our sink.

My house doesn’t have a garbage disposal because I have a sceptic system so these are a must have for the kitchen sink, I use smaller version in the bathroom sink and shower.

I wash my small dog in the sink and this keeps the hair from going down the drain better than standerd drain stopper.

Not so easy to clean. Food gets stuck in them. Definitely do their job keeping food from going down the drain.

I have been looking for a kitchen sink strainer for a long time and I have tried many products. I found either the holes were so large that small stuff, like rice, would go through the holes, or they were so tiny, made of a mesh that all food would get stuck and cleaning was a headache. Not this one! It is a high quality sturdy stainless steel product that holds everything and can be cleaned easily.

i’m so mad I didn’t buy these sooner. I had an awful drain stopper in my apartment that wouldn’t hold up, and always had to put my hands in dirty dish water and dig out food bits (no garbage disposal in city apartment) it was horrible. I have sensory issues and it was genuinely adding stress in my life. Thank god for these things. And having two means I can toss one in the dishwasher and replace with the other so I don’t have to manually clean. They lay nice and flat and no food gets past. And cleaning is much easier now.
