> 24 hourProbably one of the easiest to listen to Klipsch speakers that arent fatiguing. Better than the series 2! Not the best Soundstage or imaging.

> 24 hourIm writing this review about a day after receiving my delivery, and the price is already about $150 more than I paid. So, I can only review this speakers value according to what I paid. I think its a 5 star value in the $350 range. Sounds great, and way more sound possible than my apartment can handle, but I expect to keep them forever. There is a nice printed manual included, but seems geared more toward the Reference Premiere series as a whole, and not the specific RP-500M itself. Little things matter, like the angled bevels on the front make the speaker look off kilter with respect to almost anything that is level in your home, at almost any viewing angle. They are bookshelf speakers, and your bookshelf is probably level. It doesnt bother me, but the bevels dont serve any functional purpose, so I question what was the point of that design choice. Finally, I think a speaker selling for close to $500 now could be manufactured profitably somewhere other than China. I know Klipsch makes their best speakers in the U.S., and the next time around that will weigh heavily in my decision. Crazy idea: Try using some real wood! I think its silly comparing the quality of fake wood on all the different speakers. Klipsch should pay attention.

> 24 hourOver all performance is good for the size my problem with these speaker like all Klipsch speaker is they have no high end yes there have bass for the size but there not very clear. I have book shelf speakers that are 35 years old that sound better. I love the way way there built and look I just think they need to be clearer. This is my second set of bookshelf and I didnt use either one of them.

> 24 hourThis pair of speakers will thrill you. Ive been a big fan of Klipsch for decades and I ugraded to this pair without any regrets! My 75 year old father couldnt believe his ears....he sat on my couch for hours listening to blues, jazz, C&W and classic rock through my Amazon HD subscription and thought he had gone to music heaven.....I agree. Maybe not the MOST dynamic Klipsch speakers compared to some of the larger floor models but certainly high quality, beautiful sound and easy to place in our home theater.

> 24 hourHard to imagine better sound at a lower cost. These RP-500s are paired with a 504C. The 504C is more efficient, 97dbs rather than 93dbs per watt on the RP500s. After compensating for output they pair nicely. My center adds full range lows that are not as strong on the 500s. That being said, for their size/price these are over achieving speakers that are very musical, dynamic and easy to listen to. I recommend.

> 24 hourThis was my very first experience with Klipsch Speakers. These bookshelf speakers are amazing. I could have stopped with just these as they sounded great alone. I became addicted and wanted more! Be careful as you too will fall in love.

> 24 hourNothing to not like for the price. Great sound. The bass is what impressed me, for a 5 1/4 inch. I bought used but you couldn’t tell by the original packaging.

> 24 hourActual speakers are fine, but they came absolutely beat up. Corners of both speakers are chipped and the wood coming apart. Feel like I got used ones. Definitely don’t seem brand new.
