Klipsch RP-500M Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) (Ebony)

Cannot fault the Klipsch house sound. Not for everybody, but. it sure is for me!

Dislikes: A-1) neighbors complain that music is too loud. A-2) neighbors trying to break in my apartment to steal my speakers A-3) sounds so good that Im pissed at myself for not being loyal to Klipsch and buying these when they first arrived A-4) seller cant ship bigger size speakers to Hawaii so had to get the smaller RP-150M. and still neighbors complain its too loud at 3:00a.m. in the morning. What is wrong these folks nowadays they have like a cats super hearing??? Likes: B-1) better detail and treble than my monitor audio speakers. The background instruments, voices, and goodies is definitely there no guessing if Im hearing things B-2) running ONKYO receiver that is neutral sounding. Klipsch adds the treble and brightness that I grew up on and love. B-3) to my ears it sounds like ONKYO receiver is feeding these bookshelfs 50 watts per channel r.m.s. at 8 ohms. Im ordering amplifier to juice these babies up. But, but, but it already sounds so, so, so, so, so, so good as is. B-4) designed and engineered in America by Americans but made overseas because they have tiny hands and fingers better suited to work with delicate manufacturing parts

These are audiophile grade speakers! The sound they produce is magnificent! I currently run them through a Marantz 1060 with a Chord Mojo DAC routing music from my Macbook Pro. I had the R-51ms before these and I liked them but they didn’t provide the soundstage or depth that these do as these are deeper cabinets. The soundstage is there along with the clarity, bass and efficiency. Also — these have a titanium tweeter versus the Aluminum design in the R-51m. If you are on the fence about these pull the trigger!!! You won’t be disappointed.

These surround sound speakers are a lot bigger than I thought. I’m so Happy I bought them. They have a really incredible sound and a beautiful wood finish!

Inflated prices for this product, the actual value of the speakers are in question. The price has varied almost $200.00 in 6 months. They probably are worth about $200.00 but not much more if any.

Great monitors in my studio. Mid and Highs sing! Bass, its a 5 1/4 driver, you didnt get these to shake the walls. A subwoofer would make this pair nearly perfect.

This was my very first experience with Klipsch Speakers. These bookshelf speakers are amazing. I could have stopped with just these as they sounded great alone. I became addicted and wanted more! Be careful as you too will fall in love.

Fantastic speakers! All that I hoped for! Superior frequency response than Bose smaller speakers for only $20 more (when on sale at most providers on Amazon $348.00 in Feb. 2020). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Some complain that they do not cover the lower bass spectrum adequately, and I would argue given their size they do all that is technically possible in this regard. If you listen to highly bass driven music then see if your amp will accommodate a sub-woofer. In the upper frequencies it exceeds human hearing. For classical this is great, and for the classic rock I listen to most are not bass busters. Again, easy fix if you want lower than approximate 18Hz (I’m doing this from memory) response. I bought four if them, two sets for dual A/B set up. In a 4 way dual setting the amp states the second set should be 16 ohm impedance not the ubiquitous 8 ohm, I have not noticed any performance decay either. Great speakers! Bought from two separate companies since Amazon would not accommodate buying two sets on sale it seems at once from the same distributor.

Tengo una Configuracion Center R52C Frontales RP 500 M Sourround delanteros R41M Sourround Traseros cubiculos bose por el momento, pienso que aqui esta la parte mas debil, estoy pensando cambiarlos por los polk elite S10 por su tamaño Pequeño. Los RP 500M los cambie por los R41M y el cambio fue total, los R41M se defienden un poco para cine, pero los R500M son muy superiores , se ve el cambio hasta en peliculas de comedia, los sonidos son nitidos, los bajos ricos, con la ayuda de un subwoffer S12W a solo un 20% de ganancia se siente un sonido perfecto. Proximamente cambiare el centro por el Rp500C, el R52C se siente bien pero me imagino que el Rp 500C, seria el ideal. Recomiendo el Rp
