> 3 dayI got these for my daughter. I built her a turntable/reciever/CD 2 speaker system. Started playing some vinyl & CDs on it and was pretty basic. I expected to be impressed but was not. These cost alot and come with alot of hype advertising like theyre a top quality speaker. Too bad. I regret purchasing these. 5 out of 10 I personally sport Cerwin Vega brand too. Next year maybe Ill replace with some Cerwin Vega.

> 3 dayThese are audiophile grade speakers! The sound they produce is magnificent! I currently run them through a Marantz 1060 with a Chord Mojo DAC routing music from my Macbook Pro. I had the R-51ms before these and I liked them but they didn’t provide the soundstage or depth that these do as these are deeper cabinets. The soundstage is there along with the clarity, bass and efficiency. Also — these have a titanium tweeter versus the Aluminum design in the R-51m. If you are on the fence about these pull the trigger!!! You won’t be disappointed.

> 3 dayAfter having struggled for years to find the sound that met my needs, I discovered and owned Definitive Technology BP towers for over twenty years, and I loved every single moment of the experience. Well, that experience came to a screeching halt when the family pet managed to break one of my speakers... Multiple attempts were made to arrange for repair of the damaged speaker, in the end to only be told the parts are unavailable, ship it to us you pay for the several hundreds of dollars in shipping costs and well see IF it can be repaired. Well, at this point anything else can fail, twenty-year-old speaker and all. I needed a quick fix to keep the sound, ANY sound going. I quickly purchased a set of bookshelf speakers from a well known reputable brand. I didnt expect the experience to match the Def Techs, but I expected a better experience than I had. Well, after several months I upgraded to a set of four Klipsch Reference line speakers. It was a vast improvement on first model I tried by a different company. I learned of the limitations of the Reference line models after a few months. My ears needed more. A little bit more research was needed... Enter a bigger budget and better perspective. I had acted in haste. Well, enter the Klipsch Reference Premier line. Im immediately impressed by these speakers. My sound is restored! The Klipsch slogan Keepers of The Sound is absolutely applicable when referring to the Reference Premier line. I will be gradually updating my entire speaker system to Klipsch RP.
