Cut fence wire and barbed wire great!

Makes cutting those tough jobs a lot easier.

These things will easily cut EVERY type of bolt, wire, cable, nail or fastener you can think of up to about 3/16 to 1/4. It will NOT cut hardened metal such as roll pins, certain locks or hardened fasteners that can be shot into steel. Dont try it, youll just end up ruining, or breaking, the blade.

Cutting barbed wire.

Very Small, very pricey, not for large hands... all reviews said best fencing tool... these people never worked a farm pasture with this tool on a barb wire fence...... was not handy like the 12 inch no miss bolt cutters... very difficult to use as not a spring loaded lever.... other products will work better at a lesser price... quality made, but these are a bench tool and not so much an outdoor ranch fence use... get a spring loaded bolt cutter or just plain outright use the 12 inch name brand bolt cutters from the local hardware store... tried, will keep as an example to others... i will show difference.. should have returned for a 60 dollar refund..

I had to do 3000+ of 75 high tensile deer fencing and was burning through tools. the strainrite cutters that came with my gripple kit broke within 600. I was only able to gut stretch 300 at a time so there were an awful lot of wire knots to cut. lineman pliers would cut the wire with effort and dykes would cut the knots if you really worked at it but it was hell. I would have paid almost anything if there was a tool made just for this task! Well I found these. I cant believe how good these are! they cut that wire like butter and there was no wear on the tool, even using the tips to poke in and cut the wire knots. Even after more than 3000 plus a top wire you cannot see light through the blades when they are closed! Any other wire cutters would deform after one section of this fence and take sooooo much more effort. I absolutely love these cutters and am looking to buy other Knipex tools. buy them I promise you will be thrilled.

i build alot of bob wire fence, which requires alot of wire cutting. fencing pliers are o.k. for wire cutting, but these make it easy. after buying my first pair and using it i ordered a second pair, just in case i lost or had my originals stolen. these are expensive, but quality seldom comes cheap.

I have made ~ 60 cuts of high tensile 12.5 gauge and around 100 cuts in 12 gauge fence wire so far with these and they work surprisingly well with no damage to the cutting surfaces yet. Have also made a few cuts of 9 and 10 gauge wire, which is a bit harder to cut with my aging hands but the tool still gets the job done. Pricey but worth the money compared to other tools I have used for the same purpose.

Works as expected

Although pricey, these wire cutters do the job. Cut through rusty barbed wire without problems and rubber handles prevent injury to hands.
