The size 9 set had a bad needle and didnt know until I was using them, One of them split due to a crack in the needle along the color change on the needle. Still for the price and over all results I get Ill take one bad needle in one set after using their brand for years.

> 24 hourI own knit picks wood, and kniters pride rosewood which use the same cables as these. Ive had them a couple of months and have tried them with both wool and mohair. Holding them up to the other two, the tip is about the same. I dont know if its the dye or a clear coat, but they feel a bit plastic-y too me, which I dont like, they just arent as enjoyable to use.

> 24 hourThese are lovely and smooth, making knitting a real joy! I need to remember to tighten the join or they will begin to unscrew and yarn can slip into the space which is annoying. I have several projects on needles at the same time and being able to switch the needles while leaving a project on the cable (and securing with the end screw) feels like a luxury to me! Knit Picks cables are my favorite!! Theyre flexible enough to fold and knit in a loop yet heavy enough to hold a large sweater. I knit everyday, with few exceptions, and so want a quality needle and cable, and found them! Id love the Caspian ones as well, maybe next bday or Christmas ;-)
