Knitpicks without the wait!!!

I really love these circular needles, I can knit much faster now. The wool glides smoothly across from the cable to the needles, which lock and don’t come undone. I use less movement to knit so my muscles don’t ache. My old needles were very shiny and dazzled my eyes working under a craft light. My lovely coloured ones doesn’t hurt my eyes. The set is so easy to store and uses less space, especially when traveling. Thanks so much!

These are PERFECT needles. I love how sharp they are and they are very strong and dont give with tight projects. My only complaint is that they do NOT stay screwed in while knitting. I constantly have to stop what I am doing to readjust the cable.

I purchased these from Knit Picks. They are a joy to hold. Smooth. Warm. Pointy but not super sharp. They are easy to attach to the cable but be sure to use the metal key to tighten them up. I think it would be friendly of Knit Picks if they would include a simple sentence about how to use the key. After reading reviews, I think there are many knitters that dont know about it. Also, if the wood tip slips in your fingers during tightening, use something *grappy* to hold it. I asked a nurse that was drawing blood if I could have the rubber tourniquet. I cut a small piece off and it works like a charm.

Once I figured out how to tighten the needles onto the cables they have worked very well. Yarn passes smoothly and they are comfortable to hold. I would like one shorter cable and a connector with the set. It would make it more versatile for me.

I purchased a set of the Caspian needles off knit picks website. Less than 2 months later and 5 of my 9 needles were defective. The wooden tip separated from its metal base (came unglued). It was actually the 5 largest sizes, the smaller needles seem fine.

I love and only purchase my needles from Knit Picks. I hate the fact that my last two orders have been defective. I ordered 3 different large sizes of cable needle points. One needle from one of the pairs had a defective end and the cable would not stay connected. I called and it was replaced. The second order was for a complete set of cable needles. The first pair I used came apart where the needle connects to the metal part for the cable connection. I am very disappointed with the last two orders from Knit Picks. It seems the workmanship on the needles has gone down. I will not order from them again.
