Knit Picks Options Wood Interchangeable Knitting Needle Set - US 4-11 (Sunstruck)

I love these so much. I’m rather new to knitting and I started with the prym which I love but they were sticky…? Anyway these are so smooth and slick and sharp it’s just like butter. And gorgeous to boot!!!

Update: I’ve been knitting with these for 5 months and had to drop a star. I’m still thrilled with the look and function of the interchangeable needles. I’ve only had a connection loosen once and likely didn’t tighten it enough as it’s never happened since. However - I have had several of the sizes lose their smooth texture/coating after a decent amount of use. Not sure if it’s the way I knit causing it, but it makes them a little less enjoyable to use. I ended up testing out the metal and think I’ll convert more sizes to those for that reason.

I love these needles. They are coated/polished but still have a really nice wood feel and warmth. The needles are very good quality and yes, they can be used interchangeably with Dreamz interchangeables.

The needles are so light weight compared to the metal needles I usually use, making them very comfortable. The wood offers enough grip that I dont have to chase the yarn when beginning a project, and yet they are also so smooth that the yarn moves easily along. I was leary at first about the connection points, but have found that they are even smoother than the one piece loop needles I have used in the past. They come with a small key that makes tightening and loosing very simple. The double cord sizes and screw on caps make it easy to use as regular double needles or to secure the work during transport without fear of dropping a stitch. I wish I had started with these needles, live and learn. I have already ordered the other size needles and different size cords to complete my set. These are definitely my favorites!

As a crocheter, I did my research before purchasing my first set of knitting needles. The quality is amazing and the needles are beautiful. I have started my first project and these needles are smooth and comfortable to handle.

When I started knitting I used bamboo needles to start and eventually wanted to try different projects all of which use a different sized needle & cord. Im so glad I bought these needles. They are so smooth & nice to use, I wish I would have bought them sooner.

I am really enjoying using this set that I recently purchased. The versatility of being able to swap out needles and cables to mix and match lengths and widths is awesome! The needles are beautiful. Theyre slick enough so your work glides smoothly and effortlessly across them, but have just the right amount of grab to prevent your stitches from accidentally slide off. It really is a quality product. The ONLY reason for not giving it 5 stars is because as I was using the smallest size, number 4 needles, for a swatch, one of them broke in half! I had not even had the kit a week, and was absolutely pleased with it, but then I heard a slight snap and my stitches went everywhere. That was unfortunate and I was not happy, but to be fair, I reported it to Amazon and got a replacement set in just a few days time. Returning the broken/defective set was absolutely painless and hassle free, as well. So Im back to knitting and being quite satisfied and thrilled to be making my first sweater project ever with these Knit Picks Interchangeable Needles.
