> 24 hourI was a person who always thought e-readers were not for me. Tried this oke because traveling carrying books can be uncomfortable and also wears them. Have to say that now I love e-readers. Battery life is really good and its really comfortable to read on this device. I like that it is small because I use it for travel too, you can probably carry it in your back pocket if you wanted to. But for me size is perfect for house reading too. I added a picture so you can have a better idea of its size. Overall, if youre thinking about buying an e-reader you cant go wrong with this. I would also recommend getting the cover that they sell for this

> 24 hourFirst, device is unexpectedly small but, this is not the problem as it is designed to be portable. Ive purchased device with the intent to read PDF books I already own, many are not available to purchase in electronic version due to the age. However, the eReader does not have the typical Acrobat Reader text reflow feature to rearrange text in a reading mode therefore you would have to zoom in, scroll side to side, and up-down to be able to read it. I wanted to like this eReader but it is not for me, or the ones would buy this with the intention of reading their own PDF books. I will go back to my iPad mini but unfortunately sun glare makes it almost impossible to read in the daytime outdoors.

> 24 hourThe Kobo reader can render ePubs where Kindle readers do not or can not. That was Amazons decision. It was a deal breaker for me. The Kobo Clara 2e is everything I expected and more. I dont think anyone can go wrong with this ereadrer for the price. The only thing that I dont like is the price of eBooks on the Kobo store. they are considerably more expensive. I dont know why. So, I dont use the Kobo store.

> 24 hourMy primary source of books uses Adobe DRM and requires Adobe Digital Editions. This reader is advertised as one supporting Adobe Digital Editions/DRM, but it does not. There is functionality and screens for it, but they dont work. Search online, and you will see plenty of posts concluding this. Its a bummer because the device overall is pretty good, but I need to be able to open my books to be useful to me. The only other option is to use third-party software to remove DRM, but at that point, you could use a Kindle instead when you buy books from Amazon. I was very hopeful for this product, but I am very disappointed. Hopefully, kobo can fix this issue soon.

> 24 hourIve been using this for two months. its my fifth e-reader (three kindles, and this is my second Kobo) and Im very happy with it. Its fast, the screen is great (300DPI, same as my previous reader). I havent tested the waterproof feature yet (and dont intend to!).

> 24 hourI enjoy reading again. My old eReader was getting old, and not functioning the way it used to. I got this one to replace it, and I can enjoy reading again. The backlight adjusting warmth by time of day is a nice touch. The words on the page are crisp and clear, the touch is responsive. Its great.

> 24 hourI have a first generation kindle that works faster and better then kobo (Im using e readers for lots and lots of years). Kobo Clara 2E was a gift from hubby as I have been moving out of kindle mobi into epub. First downloading my epubs from my computer to my kobo about 5000 books. SLOW! Second once loaded the kobo froze when I chose a book. I used the unfreeze trick twice. The third time it went back to factory specs and wiped my books. Giving it another chance I loaded the four books epubs I planned on reading. I read a 400 page book a day. I DO NOT LIKE INTERUPTIONS WHEN IM READING! Every four or so swipes in the middle of the screen the font circle comes on an either changes the font or freezes. Every 12 or 15 pages the entire kobo freezes. The unfreeze trick works sometimes. Most of the time the kobo resets to factory specs and bye bye book (NO I DO NOT HOLD THE BUTTON DOWN). This is a waste of my time and energy. I chose instead to pick up a MEEBOOK 6 and am way more pleased with it. If you are an AVID reader I DO NOT recommend this reader. Its horrific!

> 24 hourVery easy to read and battery life is outstanding. I used it an average of an 1-2 hours a day for 11 straight days and the battery was still at 40%. I bought this after my sone and wife raved about theirs and they were right.

> 24 hourThe biggest advantage of this device for me is the agnostic file format support. I specifically got this e reader because it supports DRM free formats like epub, and it did not disappoint. Not only is it super easy to transfer epubs from a computer (with or without calibre), but it also has a built in web browser so you can download books directly from a server. Other Pros: - USB C charging is great - adjustable light temperature w/ auto adjustment based on time of day - no ads on the Home Screen! - built in overdrive support - supports dark mode - battery life well exceeds 1 month Cons - no black color option, only dark blue So much happier with this over a Kindle, and I don’t have to worry about Amazon selling my library and reading data or getting bombarded with ads when all I want to do is read my books.

> 24 hourPrevious to buying the reader I downloaded the Kobo App, successfully purchased a book and could open it. I was saving the reading experience for my reader. Upon attempting to open the book via the reader there was an Oops message indicating the book could not be opened. Kobo customer customer service advised me there was a known issue and would get back to me when resolved. That was a week ago. No update. Two more weeks and I will have no choice but to return the reader, cancel my Kobo account and demand refund of my book purchase price. Update: After about a days worth of my time, yet another reset has solved the problem and the reader works. For now
