> 3 dayWhat is so good about this product from Kreg is that you do NOT have to worry about quality or function, and that the price is reasonable. Sure does beat trying to make these up for your own use! Do enjoy! Good stuff for a good price.

06-06-2025I bought Kreg plugs long ago and those were sized perfectly to fit the pocket hole made by the Kreg drill bit. These, made in Comm. China, are very much undersized. I ended up using them, but had to add lots of wood filler to fill the gaps. I also bought Kreg paint-grade plugs recently (also made in China) and encountered the same problem, so its not a one-shot problem and not due to wood shrinkage. The problem is the country that makes them and the poor (or totally absent) quality control. Kreg, please return to making these products here! The Chinese versions are NOT recommended.

Greater than one weekI was slightly apprehensive about how these would hide the fastener but they were easy to install and required no additional trimming in my application.

> 3 dayIt may just be me, but I recall these being longer in the past. It seems I recall having to come back and cut off the end of these to get them flush with the surface of the wood. The ones I received this time will actually countersink if you aren’t careful. They also used to be a larger diameter and I sometimes had to struggle to get them seated in the hole. The ones I received this time fit perfectly! All in all I think these are improvements over the older ones.

> 3 dayKreg makes great products. Given their reputation for quality, I opted to purchase the Kreg brand, even though they are a bit more expensive because of their reputation. Glad I did, I had to fill about 30 pocket screw holes on the play table & chairs and I built for her. Squirt some wood glue, slide/press in the wood plug, let it dry, lightly sand, and you have a nice smooth finished product -- Paint or stain and you are done.

Greater than one weekThese worked great in the pocket holes we did on our 2x4 furniture. Have it a finished look.
