Greater than one weekGood noise level and very high air flow. Noise level at highest speed is much better than the metal high velocity fans that sounds like an airport. Noise at lowest speed is excellent. Sends the air clear across to the other side of a large room at highest speed and still feel it at medium speed. Low speed is very quiet. The circuit fuse inside the plug is NOT replaceable.

> 3 dayNever have a box fan fall over again! Or have to raise one because floor level is too low. This fan is great looking, you know...clean. Its lightweight with a sturdy handle to reposition or carry. Its on a sturdy stand that doesnt fall over and holds the fan up well while its running. Its not whisper quiet, but its not overpowering loud and it doesnt make vibrating noises. You can set it on the floor and tilt it as much as straight up or even all the way over! I use the fan on my deck and I can feel its air movement a good 14 feet away...maybe more but thats the length of my deck! it wipes clean easily. It doesnt have cheap buttons that fall off or rust. This is a well built, sturdy fan you will not be disappointed you spent the extra few dollars over a box fan. I have had this fan almost two years now and will never buy another box fan as long as this fan is on the market!

> 3 dayThis thing is great. Its not too small, its not too big. It can swivel up and down, the settings are perfect strengths, it is easily taken apart and cleaned. Its sturdy without being heavy. And it has a long life-span. The only negative is everyone else realized how awesome it is and its gotten expensive. I paid $20 for it on sale, that price makes it pretty darn great.

> 3 dayI bought one of these fans 5 years ago. I have since purchased 2 more! Even with air conditioning in my home I still like to move the air around in certain rooms. I purchased one of them for the largest room in our families air conditioned lake home as well. Better than a box fan by far. I love how easily they stand and that I can position the fan as it can be tipped up or down to blow the air. This is the quietest, larger fan for the money, that I have ever used. It moves the air marvelously where I want it to. Great for helping to dry freshly shampooed carpets too! As fans can get dirty with use, I can take this fan apart easily to clean the fan blade and grates. It cleans up very easily. The first fan I purchased is still going strong after 5 years of constant use. Please be aware that this fan does not oscillate to and fro. It is directional only. Very good product and worth every penny. I would recommend this fan to others.

> 3 dayMy model has no remote control. Switch is centered on back of fan very easy to get to. Has 3 speeds. I use high and have two fans set up to move/pull the air from living room air conditioner in living room to bedroom. Works great, very strong air movement. I would buy again and refer this product to friends. Very sturdy, has hand strap on top making it easy to move and can be rotated up or down. Very happy with this product!

> 3 dayMy 16 turbo fan finally quit on me right in the midst of a SoCal heatwave so it had to be replaced as quickly as possible. We used an inexpensive box fan we had to start with but had to be on high speed in order to tolerate the heat & that means a lot of noise. I decided to give this fan a try & I am so glad I did! We dont have a working a/c right now & with 4 kids in college this year, it will remain unrepaired for a few more years. This fan is for the master br which unfortunately is the hottest room in the house since its upstairs & faces south. The fan arrived completely put together, just needed plugging in & turning on. And what a nice breeze it puts out, even on low speed. It is positioned in front of the window by the bed so it can bring in the cooler night air & just move the air around in the daytime. It runs 24hrs a day & is fairly quiet for a fan its size but it isnt silent by any means. Ive never had a fan that is silent. The temp the 1st few days we had it were in the mid 90s & made it tolerable to be in the room only using the medium speed which is a relief knowing I can go to the high speed if needed next time were over a 100 again. We usually turn it down to low for sleeping as the outside temp drops a lot at night. Its not a/c but so far, its the best fan Ive used since the a/c broke 6yrs ago. Weve had all styles of fans & the last one, a turbo fan was the best until this one. Very glad we tried it & absolutely recommend it.

> 3 dayMy family and I own a lot of fans, from commercial fans to 1hp carpet blowers. We also own several of these Lasko Wind Machines. I like them for several reasons. 1. Quality for the price. Normally I can purchase this model (one of the 3300 series) locally for about $40. $50 isnt a bad price to get it delivered to an elderly parents front door. Quality meaning: they work and continue to work well for many years with little maintenance. 2. Powerful for the price, construction and weight. Its a 10-pound fan that pushes as much cfm as many of my much higher priced metal commercial models that cost at least 2-3x as much. 3. I feel theyre safe. As long as I keep the air-intake free of dust, they never run hot. I have left these running continuously for months without any issues. Every time I vacuum, I clean the fan. I use the large dust brush on the outside and a crevice dusting brush to reach inside. Once a year, I remove the back and give it a good cleaning. Takes a small amount of time. Lasko does not publish the CFM for many (if any) of their fans. Ive seen several responses to the question on different websites about the CFM of the 3300 and they vary. Presently, I am attempting to get Amazon to contact Lasko for the info. ========== Just beware, Lasko customer service is basically non-existent. Over the last few days, I called 1-800-233-0268 six times. My shortest wait time was 24 minutes, my longest wait was 52 minutes. They have not replied to my email placed on their contact page. I had a similar experience in July of 2013 after purchasing a couple of their 4900 fans. Their fans are great but if you have an issue, make sure you return the fan to Amazon before the 30 day return period ends.
