> 3 dayThis is the second Lego set Ive put together since I was a kid, and I had forgotten how much fun they are. I put this together with my six year old niece. She was already very excited about it since it was from Frozen 2, and spent most of her time just playing with the two main characters. It doesnt have as many moving parts as the gymnastics Lego set I last put together, but is still pretty fun and the finished product looks great. It has a lot of stickers included with it that you can put on the pieces, like framed pictures. The pictures show mostly the outside of the castle which looks pretty bland, but the inside has all kinds of furniture and parts that provide a lot of detail. This provided about five hours of entertainment for us.

> 3 daySo on the plus side, you get updated clothes on the Anna and Elsa mini dolls, and a Kristoff (not sure if hes ever been in a set before, we didnt have him). Id prefer these be regular lego style rather than in the Friends theme but thats true of almost all of the Princess sets. I dont think this build is as intricate or cool as the Frozen 1 themed castle that was just re-released but still pretty cool. Its also a little bit fragile. Builds used to be better with baseboards but I guess they were harder to display or something. It took me about an hour to build while my 4 year old played with the mini dolls and boat and stuff you build in the early steps. There are some cool things included, including a pretzel, and a bunch of stickered pieces. Like pretty much everyone else thinks, itd be better if the pieces just came printed instead of requiring stickering but so be it. Youre pretty much buying this for the updated dresses but your kids will have fun playing with it until they break it. :)

> 3 dayLEGO has released two versions of Elsas ice palace.. so it was not very surprising when they announced this set, a successor to Anas original castle.. 41068 Arendelle Castle Celebration from 2016. Overall, this is a nice set.. it is small but very detailed and has a nice aesthetic.. I like that it feels more like a castle than the previous iteration which felt more like a castle shaped playground due to the lack of walls on the upper structure. Also like that they included a Kristoff minidoll this time instead of just Ana and Elsa. What I dont like about this set is that it is very small and cramped on the inside with little room for play anywhere, a common theme in many lego sets these days but this one is particularly cramped. It doesnt feel like a great value at $80 for only 521 pieces. That puts the Price per piece at 15.4 cents, one of the highest of any large set (over 500 pieces) along with several star wars UCS sets. The previous Arendelle castle had nearly the same number of pieces yet cost $20 less than this one, and the previous Elsa castle had 200 more pieces for the same price. . So yeah.. this set is a little underwhelming for the price and I would definitely recommend the Elsa magical ice palace first if you dont have that one, its a better set overall in my opinion and a better value. This set is a great complement to the Elsa palace though for making a full playset.

Greater than one weekMy son and daughter both loge Lego sets, but now my daughter can have her own Lego world. The detail is exceptional, making this a must for everyone who follows the Frozen brand. Large enough to keep interest for quite some time, this set has a lot of detail. All the excellent detail that we are used to from Lego.

Greater than one weekMy daughter was tickled to receive her first big girl LEGO set and get ready for the newest Frozen film. This set is such a great one for beginners. She sees her older brother build with LEGOS and could tell her sets were for younger kids, but this set looks older. She built it with her dads help and is thrilled with the castle and add-on pieces. In particular, she is crazy for the kitty cat. It is a very interactive set, so it keeps her brain active and holds her attention for long periods of time. Add this one to your Christmas list!
