LEGO Hogwarts™ Express

Awesome

I bought this as a gift for a child on a giving tree. He was 10 yrs old and a HP fan. Out of all the HP lego sets on amazon that were age appropriate this one seemed to have the most bang for the buck in terms of play and assembly. Hope he enjoys it.

Harry Potter legos are awesome

My 10 year old granddaughter loved it as she is in to everything Harry Potter these days.

We bought this train as we preferred steamers and diesels over the modern trains—thanks Thomas. This was one of the most affordable sets out there and we liked that it had the station. Our son doesn’t know Harry Potter but he will when gets old enough to read them. Our biggest concern is whether it would fit the LEGO traintracks or not. It fits fine and the tracks fit between the platforms (see pictures). We plan on buying the electric kit and customizing it so it can pump it’s pistons around the track.

My niece loves Harry Potter and LEGOs! This was a great set to add to her other HP LEGO sets. She even sent us a video explaining each of the features of the train station, once it was all assembled. The set arrived on time and in good condition.

Fun LEGO with some fun details however this train does not come with any track. You can add any LEGO track from the last few years and it is compatible but then you need to raise the station for the train to allow the train to freely pass under the station features. Only giving 4 Stars b/c I feel like LEGO should have thought of this and offered an “additional pack” to accommodate for any normal person who wants their train to have track to travel on. Also since no track at all is included in the original set you need to buy two different sets of track to make a complete circle.
