Top quality and great looking steam train. Even the small station diorama looks great. My son always wanted a steam train to add to his lego train collection and this model does not disappoint. Next step is to convert to motorization and remote control - plenty of YouTube videos on this! Lego - please bring out a motorized version!? Finally - yes it is perfectly compatible with the standard lego track system.

This set is definitely not for a beginner Lego builder but it is amazing once it is set up

My 6 year old son wanted this set so badly! We ordered and were a bit disappointed. It was a neat set but he finished it in about an hour! Seems a bit easy for an $80 set compared to the others we’ve bought before. Also note that it does not come with train tracks.

It does not come with tracks-but you can buy them pretty cheap. If you buy two, then you can have a bigger train (if you customize)

Bought this for the kids for Christmas. They couldnt wait to put it together and use it along with their other Harry Potter Lego sets. It is very detailed and the kids absolutely love it.
