This set has a great building experience and looks good on display. It has great details and is a good way to show off American history.

OK so the last time I built anything with LEGOs was over 30 years ago. But as a massive fan of the Apollo missions I had to buy this. First off DO NOT PAY MORE THAN MSRP. I wanted this kit from the moment it was released. I tried every brick and mortar locations in my area and even took a drive to the LEGO store at Disney Springs. No one had it. So I waited and checked back daily and July 31st it was available on Amazon for MSRP. Upon arriving I was shocked with the kit. Very detailed and the instructions were clear. It was a complicated build but very fun. When complete the detail was amazing and the finished rocket is huge!! Be patient and buy this!

Good set if youre into the space program; its also a pretty large model so it makes a nice display piece as well as a fun build. As of August 2017 is priced above retail though so take that into consideration for a set that is (supposedly) still in production. 1969 pieces to match the year of the original launch. After you build it if you dont have the space for permanent display the pieces with their color shapes and the way they are engineered make a nice supplement to the Lego Architecture Studio Set and your own builds.

This was a Christmas present for my 11 year old Grandson who is really in to the Space Program. He loved this set and had it completely built and on display in one day! I am so glad I found this for him.

LEGO’s are tremendously expensive especially the “popular” models like Star Wars collections. However, the fun of building together w friend/family is great and the Saturn V I bought is a vestige of my generation

Im not a big LEGO person, but I had to get this. Like everyone else who has had the good fortune to make this item, its extremely well made. Its well worth the reasonable price. 1. Very realistic. Not too many nubs visible on the final product 2. Solid construction. You can play with it. 3. Each stage is designed to come apart like the original rocket 4. The lunar lander is ingeniously designed to fit into the upper rocket stage. 5. Mini figures give you a sense of scale 6. No stickers! The lettering is printed on! 7. Its bigger and heavier than you thing it will be.
