Awesome product but the box was severely damaged

This was such a wonderful gift and the recipient loved every minute putting this together. Well worth it.

They do not come any better than this kit. If you are a Lego enthusiast, there is no reason not to add this to your collection. It is a bit pricey, but if it is within your means, it will not disappoint. It has to be one of Legos best kits yet. It was joyful process to build and you have mixed feelings when it is completed. Sad that you are done and glad you have a very accurate Lego representation of R2D2.

So much bigger than was expecting

It took one week to build. and I recommend lego glue. sold on Amazon not sold by lego. but it works great. Any easy to undo if want to take your lego apart. And I recommend a small paint brush also sold on Amazon.

Amazing set. box came a bit messed up. a lot of small extra pieces but unfortunately missing a piece (61708110) to complete the lightsaber (if not would have given a 5 star review)

Enjoyed putting R2 together... follow the directions and you wont have any problems. The movable parts are a lot of fun... just wish it came with sound. :)

It was a gift for my wife and she loved it. She stayed up for 13 hours putting it together. She was missing two pieces but after reaching out to the company, they sent them to use.
