Greater than one weekMy grandson is not a child, but he collects any lego set - especially the Star Wars sets. I would have began to know how to put this together. He was thrilled when he got this for Christmas Eve and he as finished with it either that night or the next day. He proudly displays all of his project. Personally, I think the price of these things if outrageous and none are worth the money but his smile was definitely worth the money.

> 3 dayIt took one week to build. and I recommend lego glue. sold on Amazon not sold by lego. but it works great. Any easy to undo if want to take your lego apart. And I recommend a small paint brush also sold on Amazon.

Greater than one weekThis was a very fun build. It took me probably 8 hours total to build it (going at a leisurely pace and split over a few day). The arms aren’t as sturdy as I would have liked and if you are adding a lighting kit be sure you aren’t displaying it on a glass surface. When lit the colored insides show in the reflection. Mine came missing the sticker for the plaque but I reached out to lego and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Overall this was a solid purchase and will make for a good display piece.

> 3 dayIt was a gift for my wife and she loved it. She stayed up for 13 hours putting it together. She was missing two pieces but after reaching out to the company, they sent them to use.

> 3 dayI bought this Lego set for myself for my birthday because I’m a huge Star Wars fan. The beginning build was going smoothly then I noticed something didn’t line up with the middle leg. I had to deconstruct and reassemble everything. When I got to the final head piece I spun R2s head around and it went flying off and shattered into a bunch of pieces. But it was completely my fault. So I had to rebuild the last bag of pieces again. It was frustrating but once completed it was a really cool piece of Star Wars to have in my room. Hopefully it’ll be worth a lot more in thr future.

23-11-2024Legos have gotten way too pricey and the sets they want you to buy DO NOT work great for free-building later on. Many pieces that are meant for only that set. Great R2D2 unit though!
