> 3 dayI like that LEGO released these anniversary sets. The previous one I couldn’t buy and this one I wanted to pick up cause I thought it was a good size and good buy. Not difficult to build. Very neat piece to add to the collection.

> 3 dayThis is what Im talking about. As a long-time fan of both Star Wars and Legos, Im stoked that they came out with this for the 20th anniversary. Plenty of cool minifigs: Boba Fett (with cape and that little scanner on his shoulder), a couple of the aliens, Han Solo (although, his hair doesnt match the hair on the frozen carbonite version of himself), and Leia. Each one of them has a cool different gun. The Slave-1 ship is pretty cool, too. Its detailed without being overly complicated. I put it together with my 6-year-old, and although there were more than a few tiny little parts where he struggled a bit or needed my help, he was able to do most of it pretty independently. All in all, its pretty awesome, both for me as a dad who loves Star Wars and for my kid who is just starting to get into it.

Greater than one weekThis is a beautifully-designed product and a major improvement over the 2010 version. The new Slave I has better shaping thanks to the use of many newer part and it has many wonderful play features. The rotating wings and cockpit are smooth and stylish, and I particularly love the hidden swooshing handle on the underside of the ship. Despite the major price tag, this is the best set of the wave.

19-04-2025Thought Id submitted a prior review on this but heres a nutshell review. This is a fantastic replica of Boba Fetts Slave-1 ship seen in The Empire Strikes Back, Attack of the Clones and The Mandalorian. Its a rereleased version of the original LEGO set from decades back, complete with spring loaded, rotating laser cannons, a super cool self leveling cockpit and Han Solos carbonite encased body, along with several other figures. If you love LEGO and you love Star Wars, there is absolutely no way you wont go head over heels for this.

> 3 day75243 Slave I is one of the sets released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars. It contains 1007 pieces and 6 minifigures. Boba Fett is included, the Empire Strikes Back variant. The minifigure looks great and he has detailed printing on the helmet, torso, and legs. The cloth shoulder pauldron is also printed and looks fantastic. He comes equipped with his signature EE-3 carbine rifle. The bounty hunter 4-LOM comes in the set, and he looks pretty much the same as his 2017 incarnation; very detailed and with an accurately-molded specialized helmet. Zuckuss, one of the six bounty hunters recruited by Darth Vader, makes his first appearance ever in LEGO form in this set. His specially-molded helmet is accurate to the character and looks great. The printing on the torso and lower leg piece looks great too. Overall, quite the awesome minifigure. Han Solo comes in the set, in his captains jacket from The Empire Strikes Back. I think weve seen this variant before but it looks great. A Han Solo In Carbonite block is in the set too, and the detailing is fine, although its disappointing that LEGO didnt take the opportunity to update the piece with Hans new hair element from 2016; it still has the same type of hair from the 2010 Slave I set. Lastly, an accurate replica of the first Princess Leia minifigure from 2000 comes in this set, with 20th anniversary printing on the back and a black brick-built stand to display her on. Building the Slave I was quite the challenge, albeit a fun on. It took me about 2 1/2 hours in total to build. The completed model is very large and looks quite accurate to the source material, more so than the 2010 version. The most notable features are how the wings/cockpit rotate along with the ship in flight/landing mode, and this function continues to impress all these years later since its first implementation. There are spring-loaded missiles on the front of the ship that can be fired from the back, a handle on the underside of the ship that you can use to swoosh the ship around with your hand during play or to hold it during flight mode, and an opening cargo hold to place the Carbonite block in. The set comes with many specially-colored elements, most notably in Dark Red and Sand Green, so this is a good one to pick up for the pieces if thats what youre into. In conclusion, I really like this set. While the set 8097 from 2010 still holds a special place in my heart, this new version is a LOT more accurate, comes with better minifigures, and the play functions work noticeably better here. While the price of $119.99 is a bit higher than the previous system-scale version retailed for at $79.99, this new version has almost double the piece count, and the special edition Leia minifigure and new helmet mold for Zuckuss probably account for the $10-$15 price hike. I definitely recommend this set to any hardcore LEGO Star Wars fans! Its really awesome!

> 3 dayOne of my better 4am boredom impulse buys. Seller was AAA Honest Books, which sounds kinda sketchy, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that this lego set came without a hitch. Everythings there in original unopened packaging. Im so excited to relive some old memories!
