> 3 dayIf you like Star Wars or just building Legos or want a fun, family involved building project (were all the above), youll love this set- Slave 1- 20th anniversary edition. We build Legos as a family, and collect them. We save everything: boxes, instructions and pieces all neatly kept for posterity- so to speak. Having bought and built many, may I say this is a great one with 1007 pieces celebrating Lego Star Wars 20 years. This set includes an exact replica of collectable yellow skin 2000 Princess Leia. It also has 5 other minifigs: Boba Fett, 4-Lom, Zuckuss, Han Solo and Han Solo in Carbonite- load in on the ship. I always wondered about Fetts ship- never looked that aerodynamic- guess it doesnt matter in space; however, its a cool ship and fun to build. Theyve incorporated several neat moving parts. I love the color design- the red and greens. The mini-figs come each with their weapon of choice. With a set this big be sure to have a good open, flat work area and keep the pets away from knocking the many pieces around. They list it has 10+ age group. Anyone school age and up can build it. No problems especially If youre a Lego veteran. There are some smaller more intricate, somewhat, placements- just carefully study the instructions and take your time. Once put together, it looks great! The designers put a lot into it, and it shows. A very nice gift for someone- male or female. My daughters love Star Wars and tell me more about it than I who grew up with the originals. Enjoy!

> 3 dayEverything seemed fine with the set and build was going well until I got to the last bag where a bunch of pieces were missing when I started with the instructions for that bag, come to find out there was a smaller bag that was supposed to be inside the main bag completely missing. The bag also seemed to have some wear on it.

> 3 dayIve been drooling over this set and saving up for it. Every time I see it, its like $200. However, a few days ago, I saw it here again and it was only $119. I immediately purchased it. Within 15 minutes, it was listed at $204 again. I was worried that the price was too good to be true. At 40% below normal price, would it have all the pieces? Would the box be crushed or missing? Will it be in used condition? Then, another red flag... When I click My Orders, I get a message saying that Amazon cant track it. Thats never happened on any delivery in the past. (Amazon still says its arriving tomorrow, even though it already arrived several hours ago.) Well today it arrived and its perfect! It was new condition. Sealed box with official Lego tape intact. All pieces still in the 8 sealed bags. Instructions in a sealed bag. The corners/edges of the box are nice and sharp. The front of the box has a small crease near the bottom, but thats not noticeable unless youre looking closely or holding the box. I would consider that reasonable, especially for the price, unless youre the type of collector who needs absolute pristine packaging. The box is very much in good enough condition to be displayed in a collection, IMO. I love the set. My kids love it. Its a very sturdy build. Were all very satisfied. I highly recommend scooping this set up if you see ot drop to $119 again.

> 3 dayTheres really nothing to dislike about this Slave 1 set. The 1007-piece build is very enjoyable and the finished product is awesome. When built, the ship is nice and sturdy no matter where you handle it. The carry handle is a really cool feature and the fact that it retracts and nests away, when you dont want to use the handle, is great. The seat in the cockpit is gravity-balanced, as are the wings if you assemble them without too much tension. There are little red levers on the underside that shoot the spring-loaded missiles all the way on the other side of the ship, which is really cool. The mechanism works great, and its an interesting part of the build. I think the pricing at $120 is fair; I think if this were not a Star Wars set it would probably be more like $100, but you do get a lot of neat things in this set and the extra $20 is probably worth the extra cool factor. This was a 3 hour build for me and my 6 year old. It would be too complicated for a 6 year old to do it alone, but together we had a good time building it. I think the recommended age guide of 10+ is pretty accurate, but younger kids can certainly enjoy it with some assistance in the build. This set does not disappoint. Its great as a toy and as a Star Wars collectible. Highly recommended!

Greater than one weekI had seen this set many times before, even on major sale but I always passed it up. Friday’s episode (of a certain show) sparked new interest and all of a sudden I had to have this set! I went looking for it— sold out everywhere, except Amazon had it New and in stock in “Frustration-Free packaging”. I quickly placed my order but then got curious— the other reviewers and their pictures had me so worried that I’d receive an open-box or damaged box. I almost canceled my order. It arrived today about a week earlier than expected— much to my surprise, it arrived in perfect, mint condition. Whew! There may have been others whose box was beat up in transit, but mine arrived perfectly intact. The cardboard outer box was direct from LEGO, so this fit the Lego-set box like a glove! I’m so relieved I have this set now! I may even buy another for my ‘unboxed’ collection— and resell it once other fans realize their misstep in passing this one up. This set will play well with my Razor Crest. Another beautifully designed Star Wars set that I can remind my kids with a friendly “Don’t touch that!” This is the way.

> 3 dayI ordered a “new” Star Wars slave one kit. When I opened the shipping box, the lego box had been opened because the tape had been peeled as seen in the picture. I checked the inside and it appears that everything is there but I have not built it yet and if I am missing pieces when I build it I will be very angry because I specifically paid more for a new set. Not a used or open set. I rated it so highly because I have not found any missing pieces or flaws yet. Other than that I was very excited to purchase this set. My boyfriend has been wanting it for a while now and I got it for him for his birthday. I hope it isn’t missing anything.
