LEGO Star Wars Slave l – 20th Anniversary Edition 75243 Building Kit (1007 Pieces)

I purchased the Lego Slave 1 Anniversary Edition because I always liked the design of the ship. The bonus was that it appeared in The Mandalorian. The build took me a few days because I decided to take my time. The instructions were easy to follow but you still need to pay attention because you can easily place a block in a wrong spot or miss placing a block and notice that there are extra pieces when you are done with a bag. I did modify where the spring loaded shooters are located. I covered the holes with extra curved blocks and the ship looks better for display. The carrying handle is a nice touch for those who want to play or create a stand with extra blocks you may have to have it display upright. The mini figures are nice and the new Zukuss is a “never been offered before” addition. The 20th Anniversary Leia is also included. All in all a solid build and the price point was good for what you get in this set.

Pulled the trigger on this for my oldest son and I’m glad I did. One of the most unique LEGO builds we’ve ever done together. And that’s key. We had a great time putting it together and talking about it’s various parts. If you’re a star wars and LEGO fan at all, do yourself a favor and get this set now. You won’t regret it.

Got to bring into where I work and the kids seemed to love putting together.

I really enjoyed this set. Building it was exciting and the finished ship looks great! they did a lot of cool engineering to make this slave1 awesome.
