> 24 hourI recently purchased the Lexmark Black & White Laser Printer 4 Series B3442dw, and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with its performance. This printer has proven to be a reliable workhorse, consistently delivering high-quality prints with remarkable speed and efficiency. First and foremost, the WiFi connectivity feature of this printer has been a game-changer for me. Setting up the wireless connection was a breeze, and I can now print from any device in my home or office without the hassle of connecting cables. The convenience of wireless printing cannot be overstated, especially when multiple users need to access the printer simultaneously. In terms of print quality, the Lexmark monochrome laser printer excels. It produces crisp, sharp text with excellent clarity, making it ideal for professional documents, reports, and other text-based materials. The monochrome capability ensures that the printer focuses on black-and-white printing, resulting in faster print speeds and cost-effective operation. It prints at 42 ppm and has automatic two-sided printing. Commenting on the downsides, its worth mentioning a few. The mobile companion app setup can be a bit clunky. While the wireless printing functionality itself works well, the initial setup process through the app was clunky and didn’t work for me. Secondly, the built-in screen on the printer could be considered cheap or lacking in quality compared to some other models. The screens resolution and overall user interface may not be as advanced or visually appealing as one would hope. While it serves its purpose in displaying basic information and navigating through menus, it may not provide the same level of clarity or responsiveness as higher-end printers. Despite these downsides, its important to note that they do not significantly impact the core functionality and performance of the printer. The clunky app setup can be overcome with a bit of patience and troubleshooting, and the built-in screen, although not top-notch, still serves its purpose adequately. These aspects are outweighed by the printers overall reliability, print quality, speed, and convenience of wireless printing. In conclusion, the B3442dw has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, print quality, speed, and ease of use. The wireless connectivity feature has greatly simplified printing tasks! I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.

> 24 hourThe printer never worked. Never even turned on. Hence never printed. No place to call for help. Had to go to Office Depot and purchase an HP printer that does work.

> 24 hourI had a little trouble setting this up. The instructions are graphical so that they work all the different languages worldwide. The first steps go through getting it out of the box, removing all the shipping tape and padding, putting paper in it and the like. At step 12, it basically says turn it on. Then in step 13 there is a picture of the CD and an arrow to a laptop. My laptop doesn’t have a CD drive. So I tried using it on a desktop Windows 10 PC and it couldn’t find the printer. I assume there was a missing step somewhere that was to allow the printer to access my local WiFi network. Since I have a wired ethernet as well as WiFi, I chose to make a wired connection so that I could go to the next step in the setup program. It did find the printer and that allowed me to go further. I did have to do a bit of troubleshooting to actually get it to print. I got some error message about something (SMTP?) not being set up. I kept trying to print and I thought it still wasn’t working until I went to the room where the printer was located and found that it had been printing and double sided at that. I seem to remember it asking me at some point if I used the wireless app to set up the printer. Since I didn’t have a wireless app that I was aware of, I said no. Notice in the lower right corner of the instructions there is an I with arrow pointing to a WWW for I assume information. Does this mean, if you need help search the web? A web might be helpful. On plus side, the printer works fine, with good print quality. I assume that I will get the wireless part working at some point.

> 24 hourIf you are looking for a nice printer for your home office, this one may be a good choice. First of all, this was simple to set up, even for someone who is still running Windows 7 Pro. I did use the disk to get rolling on the drivers - and it seemed to be updated drivers. The printer runs pretty quiet and quick. The biggest concern you may have is replacement toner cartridges, which similar printers at Lexmark are well over $100, although I havent seen any for sale anywhere as of yet - but since this is a new product, Im pretty sure they will roll out when the printer goes public. Im not sure if this cartridge can be refilled - some offices Ive worked in have had refillable cartridges, but Id have to investigate more to see if that is possible for this one.

> 24 hourNo manuals or written directions, only drawings of the steps. I had to download the 2 apps and tried to get it running but nothing. This is not an all in one and still too complicated. After 2 hrs I put back in the box it came in. This product really needs a setup manual and operating manual in the box.

> 24 hourThe Lexmark printer is a good solid made printer and has a nice small footprint. It does two-sided printing, and the monochrome laser printer is light, compact, and prints fast. Wireless set up was fairly easy. With the Wi-Fi makes one can print from mobile devices, as well as laptops or desktops. It also has USB and Ethernet connectivity available. It is capable of printing up to 42 pages per minute, I never printed that many pages at one time so I cannot validate that fact. It comes with a 1-GHz multi-core processor, 256 MB of memory, and 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, which is very convenient. I like this printer and can easily recommend it and give it a 5 stars rating.

> 24 hourI have been wanting just a monochrome printer for so very long, this is a dream. This arrived perfectly packaged and was very simple to get up and running. Important note...the enclosed instructions are not very helpful. We ended up googling assistance for getting our printer to print....and wer e happily directed to an app that set us up in less than a minute. Seems very odd that this wasn’t not put in or even on the box. That, along with how I can’t find any replacement toner cartridges...well...I hope Lexmark corrects that soon. This cartridge is supposed to be high yield so hopefully I won’t need the replacement soon.

> 24 hour... But that is where it ends. I have been frogging around for 3 days so far and still have not gotten it installed. Valuable information on intalling is scattered over a number of HP vidoes that you must find on your own with a Google search. When you find it, it is usually some guy with a thick accent who is hard to understand. I still have not found out how to connect to the WiFi. Also unable to get the print cartridges to click in as shown in the video. All in all, great price, but an absulute nightmare to install. I am unhappy the I purchased this boat anchor.
