I recently purchased the Lexmark Black & White Laser Printer 4 Series B3442dw, and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with its performance. This printer has proven to be a reliable workhorse, consistently delivering high-quality prints with remarkable speed and efficiency. First and foremost, the WiFi connectivity feature of this printer has been a game-changer for me. Setting up the wireless connection was a breeze, and I can now print from any device in my home or office without the hassle of connecting cables. The convenience of wireless printing cannot be overstated, especially when multiple users need to access the printer simultaneously. In terms of print quality, the Lexmark monochrome laser printer excels. It produces crisp, sharp text with excellent clarity, making it ideal for professional documents, reports, and other text-based materials. The monochrome capability ensures that the printer focuses on black-and-white printing, resulting in faster print speeds and cost-effective operation. It prints at 42 ppm and has automatic two-sided printing. Commenting on the downsides, its worth mentioning a few. The mobile companion app setup can be a bit clunky. While the wireless printing functionality itself works well, the initial setup process through the app was clunky and didn’t work for me. Secondly, the built-in screen on the printer could be considered cheap or lacking in quality compared to some other models. The screens resolution and overall user interface may not be as advanced or visually appealing as one would hope. While it serves its purpose in displaying basic information and navigating through menus, it may not provide the same level of clarity or responsiveness as higher-end printers. Despite these downsides, its important to note that they do not significantly impact the core functionality and performance of the printer. The clunky app setup can be overcome with a bit of patience and troubleshooting, and the built-in screen, although not top-notch, still serves its purpose adequately. These aspects are outweighed by the printers overall reliability, print quality, speed, and convenience of wireless printing. In conclusion, the B3442dw has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, print quality, speed, and ease of use. The wireless connectivity feature has greatly simplified printing tasks! I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.

After setting up, this printer is pretty nice. You DO NOT need to install a CD and you can setup 100% from mobile as long as you currently have wifi setup. Steps: 1. Unpackage everything. Take all the tapes off. Take out the toner and remove the foam piece. Put paper in the paper tray. 2. Plug it in and go through the setup process. Skip mobile setup for now. Setup wifi...the interface is kind of a pain, but hey....youre not paying for a 300+ printer. 3. Go to print setting to turn on direct access via wifi. 4. DO NOT download the stupid Lexmark mobile app. None of it. Its crappy. After 30 min fighting with the stupid thing, I tried a third party app android app called: NokoPrint 5. Find it in your Playstore and download it. Follow the setup. It probably wont find the drive, so select Generic drive. 6. Attempt to print something. If printing a pdf, itll have you download one more small package so it can read and display the content. DONE!

This compact laser printer (8 3/4 H x 14 W x 14 D) does just one thing, but it does it very well. From sleep to first page out is under 10 seconds and pages print at the advertised speed, even using the duplexer, which I love. The picture instructions are bad, and there is nothing else, but once you get the printer out of the box they kind of make sense. This does not come with any cables other than power, so if you want to connect other than wirelessly you will need an Ethernet cable to connect to your network or a printer cable (with that squarish connector) to connect to your computer. I opted for wireless as I wanted to test this with my Android tablet as well. Once you power on the printer you have to use the 2-line monochrome screen to set it up (date, time, time zone, connect to network). Not terrible, but a user manual would have made it much better. Do note that if you connect to a network it has to be 2G and not 5G. The driver for this is not on the Lexmark site as of this review, so I had to use the CD (I tried with the Windows driver and the pages printed like a negative, but the Lexmark software fixed that). The Lexmark app installed fine on my Android tablet (Samsung) and I was able to print from there as well. This is a no-frills B&W laser, but it is the best one Ive ever used.

This is the worst printer I have ever purchased. It constantly jams for no reason. It does not matter how much you fan the paper or what kind of paper you use. If you buy this printer you should expect to clean out paper jams on a daily basis. I will say once you actually get it to print, the quality is good.

The Lexmark printer is a good solid made printer and has a nice small footprint. It does two-sided printing, and the monochrome laser printer is light, compact, and prints fast. Wireless set up was fairly easy. With the Wi-Fi makes one can print from mobile devices, as well as laptops or desktops. It also has USB and Ethernet connectivity available. It is capable of printing up to 42 pages per minute, I never printed that many pages at one time so I cannot validate that fact. It comes with a 1-GHz multi-core processor, 256 MB of memory, and 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, which is very convenient. I like this printer and can easily recommend it and give it a 5 stars rating.

I would like to introduce you to my brand-new Lexmark Black and White Laser Printer 4 Series B3442dw. It is extremely easy to set-up, including the included software or you can download it from Lexmarks website. Firmware was up-to-date and it has an easy-to-use owners manual and accessories manual too. The app was also easy to use and recognized my printer almost immediately. You can setup the printer through Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB. The printing is very fast, sharp, laser quality and automatically two-sided if you wish and prints on assorted size papers and various print media. it has very low print costs, with A high yield toner. The printer connects to cloud sharing platforms and includes A one year warranty and next business day service. Has excellent end-to-end security. All-in-all A high quality fast laser printing setup, for home or office, well worth the price indeed. I thank you for reading my review.
