> 3 dayI am stoked to see how good the image looks during the day and at night. I give it 5 stars and it does come with Netflix and Disney+ and is very user friendly the interface as well as the remote control. It weights very little and super quiet you barley hear the fan. very glad I bought it and the price was amazing too.

Greater than one weekIn the past, projectors have usually been pretty barebones devices, meant only to display an image via a lamp with limited life that was expensive to replace. LGs HU70LA 4k projector isnt just a projector, it aims to be a complete package, providing you with built-in apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, voice control functionality with ThinQ or Google Assistant, bluetooth to connect external speakers, all projected via an LED lamp (which is not typical for projectors) with supposed 30,000 hours of life! That is all really quite impressive when compared to projectors of the past. The specs say 60 to 140 inch size projection is possible, but sticking to 120 or under is probably the ideal size given the brightness at that size. Just keep in mind that there isnt a true zoom method here so the size you want is really determined by how far away you place the projector from your wall or screen. Another great feature here is how QUIET it is! Probably due to the LED design vs a typical lamp, I expect that there is a lot less heat involved, and thus, less intense cooling needed via a fan. A noisy projector can be annoying and distracting while watching movies or playing video games so, this is a definite plus that its quiet. The quality of the projection itself is really quite nice overall - 720p cable broadcast up to 4k content on Netflix all looked fantastic with great color reproduction, contrast and blacks levels. The only con about it is that when it comes to movement, there is a bit of blur that occurs but really, its about the same kind of effect that occurs in any LED TV with less than a NATIVE 120hz refresh rate (which is 9/10 of them out there - many claim 120hz with special buzz words like TruMotion, MotionPlus, etc and those are all artificial means of doubling the refresh rate, which is not the same as having native 120hz. If a tv has native 120hz, youll usually see it advertised with those buzzwords as 240hz, and of course, itll be more expensive too). This projector happens to utilize the TruMotion buzzword here too. For movies and tv this really isnt an issue for me, but for gaming, I wouldnt consider this very tolerable. If youre at all competitive, youll want to stick to dedicated 1ms response time computer monitors or high refresh rate TVs with gaming modes to drop the response time as much as possible, OR, upgrade to the HU85LA projector (which is a few grand more expensive however...). Overall, given the many features, the long life LED, the picture quality for movies and tv, the projection size and brightness, the small and quiet design, this is an excellent projector for the price. The next higher quality upgrade is more than 2x as expensive and is really only a little bit better in terms of picture quality so what youre getting here for the price is a great deal.

> 3 daySet-up -To start, it asks for a lot of user permissions, like sharing your data. I declined everything. I have zero desire for a projector to share my data or listen to what I say. -It has a very wide viewing range. I have an 86 screen, and I had to move it somewhat close (about eight feet) to fit it to the screen. Projector -The picture is fantastic, and the colors are very vivid. I love to play video games on the projector; it feels more immersive. -I like that it has its own speakers. The sound is kind of flat, but its really nice to not have to have external speakers. It is also plenty loud, too. -The remote control has a pointer like a Wii remote and a scroll wheel. Theyre both good for navigating menus. It also has Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons. If you move it in the dark, the buttons light up. It is expensive, but it is a really good projector. I dont have any major complaints so far.

> 3 dayFor the price this thing is incredible. Installation was very straightforward. I knew the brightness would be low prior buying but it definitely is impactful and worth mentioning with this projector. I have a theater room with zero windows and as long as the doors to the room are closed and lights are out it is amazing...otherwise it is ok. You need an extremely low light or no light room for this projector.

> 3 dayGot this from the Black Friday discount, my wife wasnt happy with me spending this much money - until it arrived, she looked at the video, she said WOW - now I knew the money was well spent. I am running KODI with Raspberry 4 right next to the projector, with the S/PDIF sending audio to my receiver, projecting a 120 inch picture on the wall in my basement. Initially I worried about the LED brightness, its not an issue at all. The only problem I have with this project is the black level is not too good (as other reviewers pointed out). But I am happy with all the connectivity options, the built in HDTV toner and hopefully the longer bulb life of the LED.

> 3 dayIt is quiet enough the fan noise is not noticeable even within few feet of my head. The picture quality is good, but it is not a true 4K. Read the PDF manual which is linked from the web page. I purchased this to use as a PC monitor and needed full resolution, but it turns out the resolution has to be reduced for the best quality. The user interface is easy to use. It has a built-in TV turner which I dont see much use as most people probably use a separate streaming or cable box. The picture is not that bright and cannot be used in daylight. The room does not have to be dark, but it needs a dim room. It can be placed on a table, but ceiling mounting is the best to keep it out of the way. It needs to be horizontally centered at the lens (not the body) for the best focus because it only has vertical adjustment. This was a good starting projector at a reasonable price. I would go for the laser one the next time if I can afford it so that it can be used in daylight.
