BEAUTIFUL PICTURE QUALITY! I was skeptical about buying a projector, thinking the picture quality wouldn’t come close to a newer tv... I was wrong. The picture is stunning and crisp. There are occasional moments that I notice a little disturbance in the picture. When sun was shining thru the blinds during a scene in breaking bad, the window got all distorted. I also noticed it when the grill of the car came over a hill the grill got distorted as well. Besides those two instances tho... it’s been perfect. Highly recommend. For the price you can throw a 10’ screen on your wall crystal clear.

Very satisfy with LG 4K projector. 1500 L of this one is much brighter compared to Chinese “7300L” one. The audio connecting to surround sound system is much crystal clear. I am happy to find correct LG 4K projector that I paid only around $1500.00. I love LG products.

Originally I rated this a 3 star projector. But, the execution here is truly phenomenal. The complete package comes in at one extra star. And, Ive updated my prior review. After even more testing I found that the black levels are... acceptable. It has good traits. It has bad traits. The good do outweigh the bad. In short: if you intend to replace a TV with this projector, then by all means pick it up. I was sporting a 10ft screen (120 diagonal) and at first glance, with some ambient light, I was very impressed. The color is truly excellent, as others have noted. It is so excellent it shines in bright ambient light, catching the eye and filling in the image. The color is what makes this LED projector shine (pun intended). It is lovely. The problems begin when you lower the lights for a bit more clarity because... well, there isnt any. The exact same image you saw with ambient light? Thats nearly what you are getting when the lights are low. There isnt any extra dark hiding in the shadows. Its going to be good color and only acceptable dark forever. In its favor this projector sports 30,000 hours of lamp life. This is near-TV levels of lifespan for the light source, normally the trouble area for projectors. It touts being rainbow-effect free, though I oddly thought I caught some here or there. Did I mention it has magnificent color? It has LGs WebOS built in and can capably stream many, many wonderful apps in full 4k (not Disney+ or Hulu at this time). It is light. It is svelt. It has the back-lit magic remote. But, it has poor, poor black levels, requiring you to wash out the picture to bring them up in HDR (far better performance in SDR). It has decent, but not great, input lag for gaming (40+ ms for 4k, 50+ ms in SD). It isnt the greatest optically (mine had minor focus uniformity issues). It isnt truly all that bright, despite the incredible color brightness. Strangely, that will affect you more in the dark, it seemed to me, than in the daylight. Also, the brightness is more an issue with the desired size of my screen (120). At a smaller size the brightness may be far more tolerable. Like I said, it has good and bad traits. This projector is good. I preach the black levels, especially with HDR content. But, it is by no means the worst projector I have ever used. 4 stars,

Excelente image and easy to connect to my jbl sound system by Bluetooth. Despite has Netflix button on the remote control i couldn’t find on the apps to install. Weird because i have a LG TV and have more app options.

Form factor is great. Its light and easy enough to hang up in the ceiling. But its tricky to match the image size on the screen with a very narrow zoom functionality. I had to move the projector a little further forward for this to match up. The bulky power adaptor is a pain with ceiling mount, I have it sitting atop the projector mount for now. Plusses: Bright movie scenes are great and color is awesome. LG remote is awesome. Voice command is great. Minuses: Dark scenes are not at all great and blacks are pretty gray-looking and muddied despite a pitch black room and several settings I tried. Not sure if this has to do with my screen which is not the top end of the line. Too bad HBOmax is not available as an app. Bulky power adaptor

With up to a 140-inch screen at 4k UHD resolution (3840 x 2160), the HU70LA displays at high precision and detail with realistic picture quality. Wheel-less LED technology bypasses the shortcomings of conventional projectors such as discoloration of LCD and the rainbow effect** of DLP for rich and deep color. Mount the projector on the ceiling—with Remote Focus and an improved zoom of up to 1.25x, you can easily adjust the size of the screen with the included LG Magic Remote without relocating the projector. HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping optimizes picture quality frame by frame, while TruMotion generates animation frames between existing one for a more fluid look and feel. Control using your voice with Google Assistant and Alexa built-in. Use Miracast to project content from your mobile devices, and pair with Bluetooth devices such as speakers and headphones. XPR Technology is based on Texas Instruments" 4K/UHD DLP technology that helps projectors to achieve true 4K resolution with 8.3 million pixels. **Rainbow effect caused by color wheel.
